  1. Hi My 21 month old son is a good sleeper BUT... He falls asleep stroking my arm! Then at around 1am he wakes up for a cuddle and prefers to climb into bed with me for the rest of the night (who wouldn't);) Im moving in a couple of weeks so he will have his own room and I would like to get to the point that he a. goes to sleep without needing to stroke my arm and b. stays in his own room. Advice? Please no lectures on accidental parenting etc. Thanks Tam
  2. Great... Would you all like to PM me with your email address and I will set up a park/ coffee meeting next month. A

  5. Hi My daughter suggested I post on EDF about my idea for a grandparents club, so here goes... Im sure Im not the only grandparent in ED and surrounding areas that cares for their grandchild while mummy and daddy work? I havent come across any groups for grandparents and would either love to join one or start one. Please let me know if you are interested. I imagine a meet up once a week to take the kids to the park, play dates or to soft play ... Have a coffee and a chat that sort of thing! Really hope to meet other people in the area! Kind regards Alicia
  6. I think every breastfeeding mum goes through this when they decide its time to start doing things for themselves. Its not the feeding thats the issue here (if she is hungry enough she will take the bottle) its the fact that baby wants the comfort and closeness you have given her for the last 8 weeks. If you are only going out for a couple of hours to get a haircut or have lunch with friends etc its unlikely she will starve! So give hubby a bottle and go. They will be fine/work it out. My son was the same he is now 8 months old and has never had a bottle (or pacifier)... despite my cupboard full of every bottle design, teat shape and brand on the market. He now takes milk from a sippy cup as part of his weaning. Good luck, you sound like a brilliant mum (tu) Tam

  11. Hi Just seen this as I posted about coffee clubs... Im interested in meeting up with mums in the area as well... Especially as the sun is out... Id rather do coffee or picnic dates with my 7 month old than go to indoor play groups... Anyone up for it?
  12. Hi Are any other mums interested in starting a relaxed coffee club this summer? I have a 7 month old boy and recently moved to East Dulwich so would be nice to know a few mums in the area... Or if you know of any that already exist... Tamla
