  1. "We are now working on our new salon down in South East of London . "Infamous for it?s rough edge beautiful in its diversity, people, art galleries cool clubs and small coffee shops of Peckham Rye captivated us. We got hooked on , Started looking for a shop to rent to set another nest for Blue tit. "The Salon is right across from the Rye (nice big pub with bad ass garden) its the perfect place for a sunday roast. "The style of the salon will be revealed with the pictures of it by the end of decorating work. All very exciting!!"

  8. I think that is what most people are expecting: a square, not an alleyway. Not enough profit in that? John K
  9. The problem with the architects' design(s) is that the people who have signed up to the Peckham Gateway expect to get something similar. As far as I know this is Mr O'Looney's preferred design at August 2013. I will only allude to the impossible c9am mid-winter shadows and the interesting scaling of the human miniatures. I have tried to visualise how much of the station frontage would be visible from Rye Lane street level halfway between to two proposed shopping arcades. I think I have got the proposed sight lines near enough correct. It would be helpful if one of the architect members of EDF could do it in proper software. John K

  18. Many thanks. Without compromising your privacy would it be possible to give the location? Is it the Effra or Peck valley? Is it at the Plough height above sea level or higher? John K
  19. Thank you for your encouragement. Do you have any good quality colour photographs that English Heritage require to support the application? Is it correct that when an application is being processed it provides temporary protection from demolition? John K

  22. I have no information about the ornamental (back) garden. Perhaps someone could try the NRM archives. It's still not too late to save Station Arcade: http://www.english-heritage.org.uk/professional/protection/process/online-application-form/ John K
  23. 1] Has anyone come across an explanation of the meaning of the word "Dulwich" other than the commonplace one that appears in places like Wikipedia? 2] What growing conditions are required for the dill plant? John K
  24. I visited Station Arcade yesterday to make sure i had not mis-remembered anything. The canopy gutter needs fixing. I may have missed it, but I can't see anything about the station garden in the Peckham Vision documentation. John K
