Don't worry MrB, Quidsie is just narked that Northern Soul has more cred than it's southern counterpart...Keep The Faith Quidsie! :)
  2. Martinez did well with the loan system last year so no reason why he can't do similar, probably has good contacts in Spain. Strong rumour that Utd might sign Vidal, would be very happy with that...

I'm not so sure Ots, it's good news for Toffees that they signed Lukaku and Barry, and have kept Barkley, but all they've done is kept the status quo of their squad from last season, whereas I expect all the other teams around them will improve their squads significantly with new signings...
  4. Yes! Can't understand why they ummed and arrrhhh about it, total no brainer...
  5. Although all well intentioned, I wouldn't take advice from here, no one has seen the contracts and clauses contained therein. Judging by the reputation Foxtons have, I doubt it will be a bog standard AST. Your best bet is to take the contracts to Citizen's Advice who should be able to give you clear legal advice where exactly you stand...

Not just words but that annoying inflection that Aussies use at the end of every sentence, making a statement sound like a question...''I'm taking the dog for a walk''...Rack off Scott!
  7. You're allowed to agree with me Ots...;-)
  8. Maybe not with the non striker players Jah, but my point is they haven't signed anyone to directly replace Suarez and his goals, and that made the difference to them last season...
  9. I can't help but think Liverpool have done exactly what Spurs did last season, sold their best player/top goal scorer and so far have failed to replace him. Yes they've bought in other players, but are any of them going to replicate the 30+ goals which got Liverpool Champions League football? Lambert was bought as a 'Plan B' option, whether Suarez stayed or not. They should be looking at strikers much better than Remy, he's hardly set the world alight at QPR or Newcastle. If he was top quality he wouldn't have ended up going out on loan to the Toon, nothing to do with wage demands etc...

  12. What the fook is going on at Southampton? BBC reporting that Spurs are in talks to sign Schneiderlin and Rodriguez. That will be 7 first team players they've sold!...
  13. Jeremy, painting everywhere white is actually a good idea in a new place. Live with it for a few months, preferably all 4 seasons, and you'll discover which rooms need 'warming up', 'cooling down' etc...
  14. Drogba will be back up for Costa. He won't play every match or do many 90mins stints, but he'll get Chelsea a dozen or so goals which is more than their strikers managed last season...the reason why they didn't win the league. On current standing I'd have them as favs to win the league...
  15. A 'no expense spared' trip to the local nail bar?...
  16. What Seabag said, doesn't look like anyone actually lives there, could it be a development?...
  17. Is that a ''great signing'' exclamation mark LG, or ''why the fuck have we signed him'' one?...
  18. I think your ire should be aimed at the board, esp after last year's fiasco at not having a proper striker back up...

  21. All 20 PL clubs have now released their new kits for the upcoming season, can't say one stands out in the style stakes...http://www.telegraph.co.uk/sport/football/picturegalleries/10827377/Premier-League-kits-2014-15-in-pictures.html Quite like this offering from Roma though, very Mod... http://cdn.nikeblog.com/wp-content/uploads/2014/05/New-AS-Roma-Kits-Home-for-2014-15-2.jpg

Rooney is the best of a bad bunch when it comes to leadership qualities. Here's the full quote... http://www.bbc.co.uk/sport/0/football/28413295
