  4. Stick it under your bed for those middle of the night emergencies...or failing that try Chelsea Bridge Lighting
  5. Definitely get a laptop, less fiddly for your Dad to use than a netbook. There probably isn't a single laptop on the market that won't perform the basics you require. I don't think it would do you any harm to pop into somewhere like John Lewis that has a broad range of makes and sizes. Tell them your requirements, they don't usually do the hard sell, and once you see something you like you can always try and get it cheaper online elsewhere if you're not happy with their price.

Point taken, it would be interesting to know the age posters were when the albums they have nominated were released...I reckon 14-24 would be a common catchment age

  8. Hunky Dory...but the 4th wasn't bad either ;-)
  9. RosieH said... Yes, but that's half the fun, and an excuse to discover Rusholme's Curry Mile on the way back (tu)

Both albums very much captured the zeitgeist. *Floyd night on BBC4 the other night was very good.
  14. No Munich chanting Parkdrive, but the Leeds fans were mimicking the Munich air crash with their arms...both clubs should ban all culprits.

  20. I haven't seen many Lesser Spotted Scousers this shooting season, must be hiding in the bushes...Otta pops his head up from time to time though. Nice result and performance by Spurs. They shouldn't have taken their foot off, might regret it, as it looks like they could be your main rivals for 4th place...a complete thumping would've knocked the confidence out of them a la L'Arse.
