  1. expensive potatoes...
  2. Arsenal 2 v Tottenham 2 (Spurs let 2 goal lead slip in last 10 mins, thereby saving the nation the sight of Bentley prancing around in his Hom's) Birmingham 0 v Chelsea 0 (get some early Christmas shopping in) Blackpool 3 v Wolverhampton 2 (Olly delays resignation for time being) Bolton 3 v Newcastle 1 (18 certificate) Man Utd 2 v Wigan 1 (Roonster to the rescue, two goals in last 10 mins) West Brom 2 v Stoke 1 (Baggies back on the up...boing boing) Liverpool 1 v West Ham 2 (Parker and Noble boss midfield) Blackburn 0 v Aston Villa 0 (It's grim up North) Fulham 2 v Man City 1 (Hughes wants it more than Mancini) Sunderland 0 v Everton 1 (Black Cats get reality check)

Tell me about it, Danny was superb, but then again the whole Sunderland team were superb, performance of the season so far. I don't think Hernandez is a starting player at the mo, that's twice I've seen him start a match and not have much impact. Although he's not much helped by the return of Berbatov'z flailing hands in the air histrionics. The stage is set for the Rooster to save the day and all will be forgiven. Looks like the League is up for grabs again this season, I think the 'top' teams are weaker, but credit has to go for the so called lesser teams, on their day they are more than capable of giving them a bloody nose.
  4. View from Horniman Gardens on a hot hazy day...Wembley arch must be further to left
  5. ...and he's got a nutter's haircut
  6. Forgive me, and I'm not trying to wind you up here, but coming from you that's a bit rich...to some extent we're all point scoring, even you're last post could be construed as such, and so might this reply, but there has to be a line that we don't cross. Mick Mac felt SCSB79 had crossed it with his remarks about Celtic. So to answer your question...no PS. you missed off ing from try...1-0! ;-)
  7. 'bout now Wrote: ------------------------------------------------------- > Oh dear, pressure. > > RD you can't always have it your own way. BR has > always been myopic, so have you. Pressure, what pressure? We're used to the pressure of challenging for the League, just like you're no doubt used to pressure of a relegation dogfight ;-) Myopic? I don't disagree, to varying degrees that applies to most on here, although I am more than capable of seeing the bigger picture, and more than happy to contribute to non-Utd issues. http://4.bp.blogspot.com/_GFxgnPNG8nU/TCoXoGP3nWI/AAAAAAAAAbE/eTLZfafSGoA/s200/mr_magooglasses.jpg Despite the rampant myopism, I don't expect to see crass postings like BR's on the EDF. It's the sort of post you get on 606, TalkSport, etc. Despite his protestations to the contrary, his post IMO served no purpose other than to paint (unintended pun) Utd fans in an extremely bad light, otherwise why post it? There isn't a club in the country that hasn't got a number of mindless morons who support them. I could quite easily put up similar posts where Citeh/Liverpool 'fans' have sprayed Munich graffiti, sung songs etc (only last night Citeh 'fans' were singing Munich songs and waving their arms mimicing an airplane), and likewise Liverpool supporters can about Utd 'fans' and Hillsborough, but I choose not to...
  8. Then why bother posting on this forum...it's nothing but cheap point scoring, something you've always done on here...

  10. Good to hear 'arry having a go at the booing Spurs supporters. A week is obviously a very long time down at The Lane...
  11. Chelski are definitely a weaker squad than last year with Ballack and Cole leaving, replaced by Ramires who looks a bit lightweight and Benayoun who is a lightweight. Utd are still in 2nd gear, and to be only 2-5 points behind Chelski at this stage bodes well for when we traditionally kick on in the new year. If the reports of loads of Utd players being out with flu/injuries are true, then it wouldn't surprise me if Citeh won, let them have their 5 minutes in the sun, it'll be business as usual when the silverware is handed out...tick tock :) http://www.thespoiler.co.uk/wp-content/uploads/2010/09/stretclock.jpg
  12. Lewes Bonfire Night...

  16. Spurs were brilliant last night, it's not often I watch another game when Utd are playing, but with the tactically naive Benitez at the helm, Inter were there for the taking, and Spurs duly stepped up to the plate, a classic European night at the Lane...Glory! Glory! Loved the sight of the Fat Spanish Waiter with his 'I haven't got a clue and can't speak the language' hand gestures...what an inept buffoon he is...I've got a 'hand signal' for your collection Rafa :)) Will be watching Milan v Madrid tonight, should be another belter...
  17. Problem: sometimes when I download CDs onto my PC/iTunes it will store a song(s) as a separate 'album', especially compilation/mix CDs, the worst case being every song on one CD was filed as a separate CD. Is there a way I can move these 'albums' into the correct file, and in the case of mix CDs into the correct order? Thanks in advance

  19. That's RWTIMO...
  20. White dog shit...
  21. I think all players are greedy little shits, it just gets magnified at Utd...my gripe is with his agent, a supposed 'life long Utd fan', I just hope he sacks him. I'll never defend what's happened this week in terms of it all being made public and that stupid statement, all engineered by his 'advisors', but the point he made about investment in players was right, the pressure is now on the Glazers to spend big, but my reservation is that it will only increase our debts...anyways, do you think Spurs are finding it tough going playing post Champions League matches?
  22. Rooney's basic pay has gone up from ?90k/week to ?160k. Tabloid headlines of ?200k+ include add-ons which would have been included in his previous contract, so just taking the basic pay increase of ?70k/week, that equates to ?3.64M/year, or ?18.2M/5 years, and let's presume his increase in add-ons (not guaranteed income) equate to ?10M over 5 years. Upon signing the new contract his value instantly increased ?50M+, so for the club it's a no brainer. I'm more concerned that the club has paid out ?440M+ in interest payments/refinancing costs since the Glazers arrived 5 years ago (?88M+/year), compared to that, Rooney's pay increase pales into insignificance...
  23. Tuck in Wayne... http://www.shuddup.com/wp-content/uploads/2009/10/humble-pie.jpg and you can start by sacking that muppet of an 'agent'
  24. I'm certainly not trying to defend Rooney, especially the way he (or should that be his ex-Kirkby vacuum selling salesman of an 'agent') has gone about this, but just imaagine him in that England dressing room during the WC sitting next to that usless big fat arsed donkey Gareth Barry, knowing he's getting paid more...
  25. Ian Holloway for Prime Minister :))
