  1. I did that too *Bob*, but it's not enough. To show my appreciation I've decided to have his photo transferred onto icing to adorn my EDF anniversary cake, 8 years in a month's time. I just wouldn't have made it this far without him...
  2. Bursts into life? No, for me, Pinky & Perky's posts are much, much more than that...
  3. Have you not heard of computer bugs and viruses Crackers? Make sure you wash your hands after you've been online...
  4. You're nicked!...
  5. I think you'll do well to get that style of chair for ?150. If you don't mind a contemporary style, Habitat have reduced this chair to ?175, available in other colours...http://www.habitat.co.uk/nori-red-fabric-armchair-282283
  6. What's your budget?...

  10. Nope. It's someone with a Catalan i.e. Barca connection. The brick wall is probably a dig at his style of management/personality. Oh, and the hair!, a bit greyer now...
  11. The Catalan equivalent of Spitting Image depicted a certain manager like this, any guesses?... http://i3.manchestereveningnews.co.uk/incoming/article10229605.ece/ALTERNATES/s510b/bricks-007.jpg
  12. Kane KO's Klopp's Kop Flops...
  13. Another heads-up (I'm spoiling you), part 2 of BBC4's doc on Indie Classics tonight at 11pm. A good excuse to play this...
  14. I'm looking forward to his heavy metal football, meanwhile at OT we're putting up with LVG's string quartet...
  15. I think Liverpool have done really well to get Klopp. I like him a lot, although that will obviously have to change from now on...
  16. In the late 80's/early 90's in Manchester, Sunset Radio was essential listening both as a pirate and legit station. Mike Shaft the main man behind it started off as a DJ on Piccadilly Radio. I remember him from the early 80's, when he was one of the few voices championing soul/dance music. Next Monday, Sunset is relaunched on DAB, which I assume means it can be picked up via the internet too, so worth checking out... http://www.manchestereveningnews.co.uk/whats-on/music-nightlife-news/manchester-radio-station-sunset-rise-10225068 As it's groovy Friday, thought I would revisit this classic tune, still have a taped recording of it's first airplay on Piccadilly...

  18. She's still a poster Dops, but DJKQ is not her only moniker. Don't you just love electronic footprints...

So the tour company > (who like all tour companies do) fly their main > act first class. Not quite what the person posting > that pic on twitter was trying to make of it, is > it. Nothing to stop him insisting on flying standard class with all the other plebs though, is there?...
  20. I try and rinse most things to cut down on smells, but olive oil bottles get left alone. I'm sure everything gets thoroughly rinsed as part of the recycling process anyway. It would be good to know if households rinsing is the greenest way to recycle stuff or not though i.e. is more water used up by individuals rinsing than the amount of water used in the recycling plant process?...
  21. Louisa, keep your feet off the sofa!...
  22. Surely it's got to be a patronising croissant...
  23. ???? Wrote: ------------------------------------------------------- > United have looked very average all season to me > so no surprise Arsenal exposed them It was a similar first 30mins against Saints, so not sure why LVG is surprised, the team lacks pace apart from Martial, Rooney's and Carrick's legs have gone. It would be nice if LVG for once got off his fat Edam arse and stood in the technical area, telling the players what needs changing instead of waiting until half time....
  24. Klopp and Ancelotti have been available for quite some time, so if one of them gets the job it makes the decision to sack Rodgers yesterday a strange one, should've happened at the end of last season if they had serious doubts bout him. Personally, I think having artwork of himself at home was a sackable offence. Ots...LFC have a 'transfer committee', so transfers weren't solely down to Rodgers. Any new manager will have to accept that or convince FSG to give them total control...
  25. Week 8 points... Week 8 table...
