Hiya, does anyone have any recommendations as to where I can get the glass panels on my front door replaced? At the moment I have ones which are frosted with a cut out pattern, and one of them is cracked so would like to replace both with a new pattern. Thanks Hannah

Hiya, wonderd if anyone could recommend anywhere for my son to have a surgical tooth extraction - we're struggling with the availablity of the ones in North Dulwich, and obviously are on the waiting list for Kings, but its getting kind of urgent now! He's 13 and has one tooth that needs to just be pulled out and the other that would need a sutgical extraction. Thanks for any help! Cheers

Dog boarding, dog hotel or dog sitter

I have used Trusted House sitters for three years now and have always had a great experience - loads of applicants, so loads of choice, you can really vet the potentials! -
I guess in theroy with the shower attatchemnt and big sink, it would be a very usable space for all the things - my son is a keen gardener so I imagine it will be a good place to re-pot plants etc. Thanks for your input @KidKruger Cheers all!

This is more of a question than anything else really as I don't actually know if it's a thing - but we are doing our side return and I have in my head the concept of a low, big sink that the dog (who is quite big therefor unliftable) will step in to it so I am able to wash all the mud and s*** that he may have enjoyed on his walks - I know in the States home dog grooming stations are a thing, but has anyone done anything similar here and if so, did you just use a butler sink? The space isnt big enough for a shower tray. Thanks for any input and yes, I know it's the height of middle class questions so don't @ me unless you can help! Cheers Hannah

Hiya I'm looking for an experienced tutor to help my 13 year old clarify and consolidate his Maths, so it needs to be someone with a solid knowledge of the curriculum and with exam procedure confidence. 1 hour a week, preferably face to face (we are in Nunhead). I've seen a few year 13 students offer their services on here, and whilst I applaud the entrepreneur element of this, I feel that he needs someone who has had experience of teaching as well. I would need references and preferably someone who is DBS checked. Please email me directly - [email protected] Many thanks Hannah

Please could people give me any names of good, local builders who have completed a job recently (ideally a good side return) without too many problems - please, no actual business's Thanks

Thanks for all your responses. I'm going to check with the local vets as to how many cases they have of the Lepto, before I make any decisions about vaccinating against it. I have been going to the middle of the Rye and letting him off the lead, which goes very well until there is any other dog or seagull or crow around, when he totally ignores me and runs in their direction, making it all a rather stressful experience all round - I am now in the hunt for a good dog trainer as this problem will only get worse! recommendations welcome! Thanks

Hi Am sure this forum is full of knowledgeable dog owners, so thought I?d ask - we have a 10 week old puppy who, on Saturday will be able to hit the pavements and other areas that don?t have ponds or places where rats and mice might hang out (this is advice given to us by vets for pets, it?s news to me as I thought after the 2nd lot of jabs he would be good to go anywhere, but I guess vets know these things whereas I don?t) so I just wondered if people generally felt that Goose Green was a relatively safe place for puppies? I.e because it?s enclosed, and there?s no pond or stream. Or do I ignore the vet and take him straight to the park and be done with it? The breeder told us we should let him off the lead straight away as he?s more likely to stay close to us anyway, so that?s something to take into consideration. Anyway, dogs owners thoughts on Goose Green appreciated. Thanks

Recorder, Piano & Clarinet lessons in 60A SE22 9AQ
londonhan replied to RecorderSue's topic in Request a Tradesperson
Hiya My son is quite keen to learn the clarinet - he's a complete beginner, aged nine in year 5 - we're a bit limited with when we'd be able to do the lessons though and currently could only do Mondays after school! Is this something that we could make work? Thanks Hannah -
Hi Do you have a contact number for him? Also, how much was he an hour? Many thanks Hannah

Hi I have two old laptops, neither of which work, one of which I need to work and the other to possibly sell (or just scrap!). I need a trustworthy IT whizz, who can help me - I haven't wiped the disks so the trustworthy part is very important. I'm in SE15, happy to take it locally. Thanks

Video of The most talked about Boxing classes in Dulwich!!
londonhan replied to missse22's topic in What's on in East Dulwich
Had my first session with Simone in the Monday afternoon boxing class yesterday and loved it! It was as hardcore as I'd hoped and I am very sore today, but it's a good feeling of an hour very well spent. I genuinely feel that this kind of exercise is the best kind - it's a physical and mental work out, because you have to push yourself pretty hard to complete the circuits. I took my 4.5 year old daughter along and she was fine, warm and safe and I was able to chat to her when she needed attention. I can highly recommend Simone, she's enthusiastic and confident, making it fun and worthwhile session. Can't wait for next week! -
Am wanting to take the kids for a curry on Saturday, just wondered if anyone could recommend one, there being quite a few on Lordship Lane! Thanks

I'm looking at plans for a loft conversion and I need to get a good glazier on board - can anyone point me in the right direction? Many thanks

Yet another recommendation for Wayne - superb attention to detail and he takes great pride in his work, which makes it worth every penny. Highly recommended

I was at the Palmerston on Friday for the lunch special, had really good 2 courses for ?14 and exceptional service. I've also been there for dinner recently and found the food to be lovely and again, really good service. It's one of my favorites in ED!

good grief. For your information, I got the method from a publically viewable forum on VW passats. 'Now everyone has been told what to do'. Please, blame me if there is a spate of VW break ins in the area following my post. I'm sure it would be down to that entirely.

Just wondered if anyone else experienced any issues with their VW's last night - ours was broken in to outside our house, I only realised this morning when I noticed all the windows of the car were open. On closer inspection, it seems they have taken out the lock from the driver side. Turns out this is a real oversight in VW security - all you have to do is shove a screwdriver in the lock and push, and all the windows come down and the alarm turns off!! Brilliant! Anyway, there was literally nothing of any value in the car, I imagine to the disgust of the little sh*t who did it, apart from all our CD's which I then found scattered at the bottom of the road. Anyway, I was just interested to see if anyone else had a similar thing happen recently.
