  1. Hi there We are unexpectedly moving so my son's nursery place is up for grabs. 2 days a week on Thursdays and Fridays at Blossoms Montessori which is off Dunstans Grove. The nursery is for children 2 years or older. Term time only. Hours are 9am-4pm. It is an amazing nursery, a home from home environment, beautiful Montessori materials, fantastic teachers with low staff turn over, and small which makes it really welcoming and friendly. My daughter attended before starting school and loved it. My son has been on the waiting list for over a year which gives you an indication of how hard it can be to get a place here, so hopefully this opportunity to fill his spot will be a real win for someone whose childcare has fallen through, or is unhappy with their current nursery. Email me if you have any questions about the nursery and I can put you in touch with the nursery manager. [email protected]
  2. I was hoping there would be a thread on here about finding an au pair. And there is! Brilliant. Mellors, did you draw up your own contract, or did Au Pair world give you one please? What a good idea to have a handbook. Would you or others mind sharing an example of the sort of thing you included in it please, as I might put together something similar.
  3. Sounds like the bugaboo one would solve my problem. Thanks so much for the advice. A real help.
  4. Does anyone have experience please of using both the bugaboo footmuff in the bee and a different brand of footmuff? Is the bugaboo one easier to do the harness up in? I never bothered getting the bugaboo footmuff for my now 2.5 year old as we were given this amazingly thick and cosy footmuff made by someone else. The only issue is its a bit fiddley to clip her in because the toggle keeps disappearing through the hole in the footmuff because it's too large for the buggy really. It didn't really bother me before but now I have my second; whose in the sling most of the time, it's really difficult to bend forward and fiddle around with it to clip her in. Just had a look at the bugaboo website to see if it's worth getting the bugaboo footmuff to solve the problem but can't tell from the pictures if it would be worthwhile or not. If the bugaboo one is equally as fiddley then I'd prefer to stick with the one I've got as it really is so thick and cosy. Any advice really appreciated. Thanks
