  3. I can highly recommend these boxing classes. They are for all abilities and if you are a total novice you are given the warmest of welcomes and given the extra attention if you need it. Simone is a great trainer really easy to get on with and is so passionate about her work it's infectious!
  4. Hi all I just wanted to recommend for all mummies out there wanting to get fit the mummy boxing classes run by Simone from Mind Over Matter [www.mindovermatterboxing.co.uk]. I was in the Spring babies group which is no longer used so thought I would share with you all instead. Her classes are held next to Sainsbury's at Dulwich Hamlet football club . The classes are great if you have little ones to look after and don't have time to get to the gym. My little one is almost 6 months and is very happy rolling around playing on the mat whilst I work up a sweat. I was nervous at first taking her along to a class but Simone is really welcoming and accommodating to children of all ages, if baby is crying she is happy for you to attend to them - she's even assisted rocking my little one to sleep in the pushchair whilst I carried on training. Everyone in the class is friendly and I'm so glad I have finally found something i can do without feeling guilty that I'm not with my baby. The classes are never repetitive and always challenging.

  6. Hi My friend and I are looking for a personal trainer who can d shared sessions. Anyone got any recommendations? Thanks
  7. Thanks everyone this is really helpful advice all much appreciated. I will have a look at the nappy lady website too. I think waiting till our baby is at least a few months old will help as most of you have found. Thanks again all Jenna
  8. Hi I was wondering if anyone had any reusable nappy advice. My first baby is due in May and I would love to use reusables once baby is a few weeks old. My main concern is how people have found the whole washing and drying process? My best friend has just given up on using them as she was finding hers were taking up to 3 days to dry and her house was constantly looking like the local laundry - I'm wondering if this is common or just the brand/ type she was using? I live in a flat and we cannot dry laundry on our balcony so I'm worried about how long people have found the drying process and if it's become more of a chore. Also has anyone used laundry services? They only seem to be once a week and I'm unsure if that's regular enough?? Any advice on this would be much appreciated. Jenna
  9. Hi everyone A bit random but did you get "bounty packs" from your midwives? All my friends have had them early in pregnancy and when I just asked my midwife about it she said you get them after you've given birth which I didn't think was the case? Also does anyone know about the labour ward tours at Kings and if the birthing pools have a tour at all? Thanks Jenna
  10. Hi all Sorry I'm late to this conversation. I'm expecting my first on 11 May and starting to show now which is making it all seem very real. I would love to meet up with you all on 21 Jan what sort of time? I usually have to work quite late so will have to try and escape early. Roll on maternity leave!! Jenna
