  1. Selling this very good condition (light use) DSLR camera that helped me achieve distinction at photography college a few years ago. Specs https://www.sony.co.uk/electronics/support/a-mount-body-slt-a30-series/slt-a37/specifications Comes with original lenses plus a beer can telescopic and even a dedicated macro lens, articulated screen. Extras Remote/timer, 12v & 240v battery charger, spare battery, loads of lens filters, USB universal card reader, Lowepro bag. I'll even throw in a WiFi sd card, so you can with an app on your phone transfer your pics to social media. This camera is a great starter (on steroids) of a DSLR see the specs on the link above. Only selling as I'm downsizing my hobbies due to ill health, I'm unable to go out and enjoy photography anymore. Even has original box, cables etc Bargain at £250. no offers. The lenses alone are worth more than that. You won't find cheaper anywhere? Please do your research, get in touch if you have any questions thanks for looking. https://photos.app.goo.gl/9SywP9upXVJM8ejq5
  2. Can anyone recommend a beauty/massage therapist as mine of 18 years has sadly retired. She was/is a wonderful person, and a top professional therapist whom treated me with deep tissue massages (I have spinal injuries) and back/shoulder waxing. Not at the same time naturally, and needless to say they have no objections to treating men. Thanks in advance
  3. Having an early spring clear out. What hasn't been used for 6 months needs to go. Meaning watch this space for more bargains coming in the near future. Xbox 360, 250GB original with 2 x controllers, battery packs, charging cable. 'Kinect' with games - the 'Your Shape' is brilliant, it's like having your own personal trainer at a fraction of the cost of gym membership and you can do it comfortably in your own home. Loads of other games for the whole family. All the cables including HDMI and power pack. It's been tested and formatted back to factory settings all ready to go to the new owner. I've priced this less based on what I can get from 'CEX' however they don't list some of the games and don't include the additional cables in what they are offering me online before they resale it with 50-80% mark-up. So, to save me popping in directly to one of their stores. Essentially, you're paying for the hardware and the games are free. Was wondering if my neighbourhood or nearby to SE218EA would like to get retro-ish? In good condition and all boxed (not original) for your convenience. £50 only, no offers please. Could possibly deliver locally.
  4. Hello EDF community I'm noticing that all my archived messages that were in folders are now mixed up into inbox but yet the folder names are still present, and as far as i can see there is no option to move messages back into these folders like one used to be ble to do on the original basic text version. Is this the way now or am i missing something? Kind regards
  5. Me too, I've noticed PM's seem to stay in 'Outbox' for several minutes before being sent. I've lost all my stored messages since the new format. It's so much more complicated this new system. I know we are creatures of habit and find change challenging (some more than others) but it's overcomplicated by any standard. Strip it back to make it more user friendly. I'm looking all over the place to find what I want. Quite frankly I've become a bit disillusioned with it and don't spend half the time on EDF now. Maybe that's a good thing, but there maybe not. It is what it is..............progress they call it I think
  6. Appreciate it Joe, that's much better Many Thanks
  7. Since the new format I've been finding it struggle, most notably is that I can't see from the main heading if a photo is attached like you could previously. I'm also noticing that there are a lot more posts without any attachment. Forgive me if I'm not seeing it, but I'm dyslexic and a visual learner, having a picture or knowing there's a photo attached both saves time and helps me to understand what is being sold. Welcome your thoughts my friends
  8. Any of you fellow fish keepers have a spare air pump for a 100ltr + tank. Mine is broken and I urgently need one in this hot weather
  9. Thank you SpringTime for your input. Naturally asking neighbours would be the first port of call, but did you stop to realise why I'm asking my wider community before adding your aggressive comment? None of my neighbours have need for such tools as we live in an purpose built apartments with no garden. It's nice to see such warm and welcoming comments to my friendly shout out :-(
  10. Hello Friends Does anyone have a garden Spade I could borrow for a day? I need to dig myself a hole, literally a small one. In the West Dulwich preferably, but I can drive to pick up, can leave you a deposit for peace of mind. Kind regards James
  11. I have known this educated well read, travelled mature gentleman for many years, even worked alongside him at one stage. I'm sure he wont begrudge me writing this, however his pride might do. His name is Ian, the name behind his forum name right-clicking in where he has helped many in the community with their computer related issues, and I may hasten to add for no fee sometimes; just offering friendly advice. I might get into trouble for this post but I can't sit back and see a friend be destroyed by such an unfortunate set of circumstances. Within a space of 18months he was made redundant, and at his age (58) has found it difficult in an ageist society to find suitable work for his calibre, though he has worked doing say lesser work. On top of that his marriage broke down leaving him to be separated from his two wonderful children. If that was not enough to cope with last year he discovered he had cancer and spent months in hospital of which he is still recovering from (in remission), it is no wonder his finances took a hit forcing his landlord to evict him for late payments etc etc. I beg of you kind people of East Dulwich and the surrounding communities to see his tragic plight and look at his link http://www.eastdulwichforum.co.uk/forum/read.php?9,1661115,1662289#msg-1662289 Even it's not to buy anything, possible give any advice, words of encouragement or even help a man whom due to no fault of his own has become a victim of such unfortunate circumstances. I'm hoping and believe in the power of community spirit will prevail, it's the right thing to look after our neighbours, our community when in times of hardship, despite us living in a capitalist state. I thank you all for taking the time to read this, and hope you can offer some support no matter how small. Warmest Regards James

  13. I don't do this sort of thing but I had such a good experience with this chap I felt he deserved a compliment. Firstly the company is MLC Plumbing and Heating he is a sole trader and very pleasant and straight forward to deal with, and he was very competitive even outbidding the Polish traders. He certainly knew his onions when it came to fixing my combi boiler in West Dulwich, even supplying me with a certificate. He was very methodical; explaining fully what he had done and was very tidy. His name is Michael, number is 07960691495 email: [email protected] or [email protected]
  14. Bring fox hunting into London, that would be fun. The noise that comes from my neighbours garden, where they must have a fox den, with the bloody noise they make along with the magpies during mating season, I hear from more blooming wildlife than when I lived in the Cotswolds
  15. I agree with undiscovered, he's areal gent, and the help he gives is invaluable. Helped me out and my friends so many times. Well done Ian, if only there were more like you. Keep it up. All the very best
  16. I thought I'd give this a try, I know it's rather unorthodox, but the network of friendly people on this forum just might be able to help me find a counselling placement in Dulwich and the surrounding areas, or maybe further afar. I'm in my final year of qualifying to be a counsellor/psychotherapist, so far I have been studying for four years as a career change, and it's been going well. One of my strengths this year has been my client work, but unfortunately my current agency are having difficulties with gaining clients for counselling as this service is relatively new for them. This has left me with no clients, which has lead me to fall behind in my diploma. I work integratively, which means I use various approaches of pyschotherapy, depending on the clients needs, agenda and goals. I'm reaching out to the local community in the hope you might know of any organisation/agency that are looking for a voluntary counsellor, preferably they will need to supply supervision. To all the good people of our community please do not hesitate to contact me if you have any ideas. Contact me via private message or text/call on 07909513407 Many thanks for taking the time to read and hear my plea. Warm Regards James

  18. Try Scorpio Coachworks, it's who croxted motors use. They are based behind croxted motors you won't then have to pay for croxted's mark up. Give Aston a call on 07958619468 I've used them a couple of times on my old Jag, they did a good job
  19. I agree, but I only assumed it was Freddie's from reading it.
