  1. Hello We are a Finnish/Kiwi family living in Nunhead. We have a 10 month old little baby girl and would urgently need an Ofsted registered nanny/childminder for 40-50h a week for about 3-4 weeks from 7 May (exact dates to be confirmed). After this, there is also a possibility for a few extra half day or evening jobs. Please email me privately if you are interested.
  2. Hi all, Can't make it on the 18th unfortunately. First NCT class! Very exciting. My maternity leave won't start until 1 May so until then can only do evenings and weekends. Sanna X
  3. Hi all, Hope you feel better soon Jenny! Strange to think that many are getting close to their due date when I am not even 6 months pregnant yet (due date 17 May - long way to go)! And I've only recently got my bump. I have been a no-show in the recent get-togethers but will try to make it tomorrow. Work is taking all my energy at the moment and just want the sofa when I get home.:-) But would be lovely to meet you all (even if it means missing out on One Born Every Minute - my hubbie will appreciate this!). Sanna x
  4. Caroline, Same here. I just booked my NCT class today. Going on the Feb weekend one in Nunhead that finishes on 1 March. A bit early for me but nothing else was available anymore! Is anyone else booked for the same class? Sanna x
  5. Hello girls, I am booked for St Thomas'. Does anyone know if they organise similar labour ward tours? Thanks!
  6. Hi everyone, I have managed to develop an awful cold.... And rather than coming tonight and sharing it with all you pregnant ladies, I think I may have to stay home. It is a shame as I was looking forward to meeting you all.:-( I hope I can make it the next time! Sanna x
  7. Hi everyone! We had our 12-week scan today (finally!) and we have, what looks like, a healthy little girl in there! I was amazed that they could tell the gender already, but the lady said it's 90% certain it is girl. And the down syndrome risk has gone down to 15-year old level (I am 37 so it is relief). Very happy. My due date has gone forward by 10 days from 27 May to 17 May. Still the last one in the group. Feeling a bit better these days so plan to join you girls for future get togethers and 8 Dec is good for me. Sanna
  8. Hi everyone, Unfortunately I couldn't make it to the first meeting and being only 9 weeks pregnant (but I am still pregnant!), I'm keeping a low profile for now :-)! Every day at work is a struggle thou, feeling pretty rubbish most of the time. First scan booked for 14 Nov and I can't wait to see the baby, get the comfort that all is well (fingers crossed) and being able to tell everyone. I seem to be the only one due in May, and late May in fact, so more than 2 months behind most of you. :-) Sanna
  9. Hi, We just found out last week that I am pregnant, and if this one sticks I am due on 26 May. Trying not to get too excited until we are past the 12-week point thou. I am (or should I say hopefully will be) a first time mum and would love to chat to other first time mums due in May.
