    So....

I like it for reasons that adonirum mentions. I use it on the forum when the logical conclusion of someone's post or shared link results in idiocy....that's why I use it so often. I tend to use "Soooooooo" to really point out there idiocy in a very deliberately condescending manner *obviously in my subjective opinion

Had we played Arsenal, Liverpool and City away? (Though we had beat the last two at home at this stage admittedly)
  12. fook me......pathetic thread but causing much amusement
  13. And a well done to Jamie Oliver for this. The comparisons with Brand are laughable. Jamie Oliver is dealing with some medical fact on something that he has some reasonable knowledge and experience in. Brand pedals his own narcistic Mumbo jumbo based on a pick and mix approach to a bunch of lefty dogma.
  14. I agree with DC on the labelling thing - teaspoon, I know what that is . I haven't a scooby on what a gram of sugar looks like. I don't agree on DcS optimism about the state's ability to social engineer obesity with a flick of the funding money. All a bit top down for me.

Which is a 'relatively' small population geographically dispersed or in terms of students largely converted already?

I've voted Labour in 4 General Elections Blah so I don't know why not? But, the point is, as Dave R and others have said, that it's not 'a typical Labour voter' that Labour needs to win the next election
  19. i know it goes against a certain narrative and I'm a white bloke so can be ignored or put right but I think the notion that the struggle against the man unites all ethnic minorities in some kind of solidarity is and has always been a bit false. The racial tensions in Birmingham during the riots between separate 'communities' being an example; the use of the word 'slave' by some english from an african ancestry as a degotary term to west indians another. This is all hearsay and maybe reflect my own prejudices but I've heard examples of this and been told it's true by some friends from various ethnic backgrounds.

But I think the problem for Labour is that they need to attract ex labour voters who are swing voters including some tory swing voters. The latter will be hard to attract when every on sociual media is calling them 'thick or C*nts'; if anyone who questions anything Corbyn puts forward is called a Blue Tory (including Polly Tonybee for feck sake) some of them may actually start top move that way. And if we use a small sample on the EDF of ex-Labour voters (that includes the likes of me and I *think* apolgies if wrong, the likes of MickMack)...I can telly you categorically I will vote Tory for the first time in my life if the alternative is Corybn/McDonnel and their ilk. In a slighlty wider sample in Scotland in the polls tory support is is going up (ok it's the polls) which presumably reflects some scots feeling like me. Personally i think you're howling at the moon but five years is a long time and we will see. Labour is streets ahead on Social Media...... as it was before the election.....

Email Jeremy Corbyn about it Lou, he'll bring it up in PMQT, your terrible oppression and that
  24. Contract Hire with a decent provider fits your requiremennts - just get your mileage right and keep an eye on wear a nd tear but they are normally ok on this. If in doubt about unreasonable add ons to the contract get any dents etc dealt with as you go along and get it valeted at the end. I think most will quote you a per mile costs above contract too.
