  1. Can You Eat A Squirrel in Mayow Park? from Melissa Jane Knight on Vimeo. The debut new single brought to you by The Amazing Fun-draising Group - a gang of teens determined to raise money for their local area. This single will be released in February and help pay for services and activities currently facing funding shortages and cuts. The single includes the amazing Dubstep remix, by Lil'Woody, a 14 year old master of production. The group runs weekly workshops on how to raise money for charity using fun ways to FUN-DRAISE. So far, they have acted Shakespeare on the tube in a pop-up theatre production of A Mid Summer's Night Dream, filmed and edited a 20min comedy sketch show and forced youth worker Melissa Jane Knight to eat dog poo. For more info, email [email protected] Please buy this single. Money raised goes on to help disadvantaged youth in the areas of Sydenham, Forest Hill and Perry Vale in South East London. sfhyouthforum.org.uk soundcloud.com/lil-woody/
  2. I run youth workshops for London Bubble at the mo, covering a maternity place. Can I join afterwards? It would mean missing the first two sessions! What a great idea(tu). My boyfriend is German and it has been three years so about time really I learn. Worst thing of all is when I was at secondary school, I turned my nose up at German choosing French and Spanish instead, saying that it was a useless language unlike the other two and I probably won't ever go to Germany so will never need to learn it! Never say never eh?????
  3. If you would like to read an example of my work, I have a blog (still unsure about the word blog): http://www.ideastap.com/People/5e7ff9ae-0c70-4714-a0fc-9ef401522792/Blog/b14d6b98-a27b-48bb-b9aa-9f7200c34913
  4. ComputedShorty - if I told the facts you'd think I was an irresponsible liar adding to an over inflated hysteria on youth!... Thanks for your yes votes... a series means that I would ask you to meet me three times, to see the changes I would have made to some sample chapters after hearing your points of view. So for best availability, mornng, afternoon, after work or weekends?
  5. Great! Thanks for all the tips! Will keep you posted!
  6. Sorry supposed to say when not hen!!! da yoof - slang for the youth!! Sorry everyone, I spend too much time with 15yr olds!
  7. So when is the East Dulwich writer's group next happening?
  8. sorry I lost you all there, being new to the forum, in a sea of new posts. You lot are prolific in ED!! My mum has two ex-battery hens arriving next week. Should be good fun. Next question is - do chickens fight? I mean if I get one from a posh farm and put it with one from the work house, will they sense their differences?
  9. Thanks, sorted! You are all really kind! xxx;-)
  10. How can people find their OP in this sheer amount of new threads? In Sydenham Town there is a button for 'view your posts' - what can I do here? Help!
  11. Cheers! Thanks for the info. I'm actually a bit jealous of the chicken coop - it's bigger than my bedroom was as a child!
  12. The fact that spelling seems to be such an issue does highlight the exclusivity of such forums. In reply to the OP, I'll be glad when oil runs low. Then out come all the new and inventive ways to manipulate wind, waves and solar electricity without the stink of fumes. Or as some conspiracy theorists have already mentioned - the plans for these vehicles are sitting in the safety boxes of compnies like Shell, and have been for years! Also, I would lend your ears to people like David Boyle and the New Economics Foundatinon - they have loads to say on money and how we view and value it. I mean, drop a ton of gold in the middle of a famine region with no infrastructure or transport and what can it do to help?
  13. My mum has just built a fox proof coop and is looking for chicks. Should she get hens or chicks?
