Just noticed in the What's On thread that FHT are doing Thursday quizes as well now..

Thursdays are crowded aren't they. The East Dulwich Comedy quiz is a different celeb every Thursday night (celeb meaning a stand up comic or ex Neighbours star usually) But with GutRocking comedy having such a strong line up on )alternate) Thursdays at the EDT I think that will get my focus after tonight

as this has moved on to great US shows, I now, predictably, mention... oh, not even I can do it again BBC as an institution is a strange mix of complacent and defensive. TV output, especially factual stuff, has become nigh on unwatchable. I almost prefer Sky news to BBC news and I never thought I would say that (although I don't like any TV news really, apart from maybe Ch 4) As I get older I find it's not about the TV though - the breadth of services across the radio stations and web is frankly an embarrasment of riches for which we should give daily thanks and for dumping Jon Gaunt, they also deserve special thanks

hmmmm - a much journeyed trip. Local cabs firms can get you there for about ?30-?40 if I recall but time wise it doesn't save an awful lot If I'm travelling light I usually get the bus to Victoria (185) and tube it from there... I don't believe there is any genuinely "good" way

I would imagine that you would like several comrades around you should a gang in a car or bus/train decide to get aggresive about being found out as well.... They are damned if they do and damned if they don't - when you don't see them around stations people get arsey about the number of fare dodgers..

There are people in this world who think we are one and the same person you know.... As for the topic, isn't every post we make on here similar to a blog - It's just an opinion expressed and no-one HAS to read it I tend to read blogs by people I know, just to see what's on their mind/what mood they were in when they wrote it - and that include our 3 bloggers mentioned here. I love 'em all PS Alan - you are like Karter - you keep alluding to seeing me abaht (and have pinpointed my, er... habits) but I don't know you - so say hello sometime.
