  4. Congratulations Annabelle and sorry to hear that Hannah's got chicken pox Sally. Hope she is on the mend and that camping out at your mum's has meant Sophie hasn't caught it. I'm toddler free on Wednesday and wondered if anyone fancies meeting up for a coffee at the french cafe on forest hill rd, by Peckham rye park, next to the co-op at around 10.30am? Hope everything goes well on Monday Jo if your baby hasn't arrived by then. Ruth x
  5. Congratulations Mo and Sally, glad to hear both your births at Kings went smoothly. Look forward to seeing you and meeting your new additions at the next park meet up Ruth x
  6. Hello, just to let you know another spring baby has arrived! Zach was born last week via c section. All went ok and we're home now. Think it will be a little while before I can venture out as need to recover from the op - am pretty immobile at the moment, but hoping I will be back to normal soon. Zach's older brother Oscar has been great so far - welcoming, helpful and gentle, hopefully that will continue! Anyway, I will join you all for future meet ups as soon as I can. Hope everyone's well and bumps are growing nicely. Look forward to hearing news of other arrivals soon, Ruth x

  14. Hi all, A bit of late announcement but Oscar James was born on 8th September at Kings weighing 9lbs. Unfortunately, after a long and difficult birth, Oscar had to spend 2 nights in intensive care and then 3 days in the special care baby unit. All is ok now and we were so relieved to finally be able to bring him home! I am around on Monday 24th Sept so can come along to the Gardens cafe to meet up with those that can make it. Nat - glad to hear you all went well with the birth of your son Jude. I did wonder whether we'd bump into each other on the post natal ward! Ruth x
  15. Yes, thanks for organising last night's drinks - was really nice to meet some other autumn mums to be. I'm due on 7th September with my first so may not make the next meet up but look forward to hearing news of baby arrivals and seeing people again soon, Ruth x
