My sentimental friend - Hermans hermits

Watch Falcao go to another club and start scoring for fun. I can see City, Chelsea and Arsenal adding to their squads , as they have guaranteed CMPL football next season and as such will be attractive options to top players, and can't see beyond those for the title. Sterling will do a Shaun Wright Phillips and his career will nose dive. Liverpool ? More of the same

Cheers to Red Devil for taking the time to make participation enjoyable for all. Nice one

Never had that problem when my son played for DH Youth I have to admit. I understand where you're coming from Jah, I've only been to watch the Arsenal 5 or 6 times this season and only because mates with season tickets have let me have their seats at face value, but the whole corporate thing does my head in. Do any of you ever foresee a time when the Prem bubble bursts?

Jah Lush Wrote: ------------------------------------------------------- > It's the way he's going about engineering his move > PD. No class. I agree Jah, but unfortunately it seems to be the way of things these days and I can't see it getting any better. I'm seriously getting hacked off with the whole Premier League thing. Going off at a tangent I know, but I went along to see my sons' friend play for Beckenham Town a few weeks back, and it was so refreshing not to have to put up with all the corporate crap that has taken the Prem over. The quality level wasn't great, but I got the distinct impression fans actually felt part of the club, and not a necessary evil to be tolerated which is how many fans feel about clubs in the Prem they've followed for decades.

What I don't get is pundits like Phil Thompson calling him greedy because he wants to leave the club, by the same token then could Lallana be accused of being greedy when moving to Liverpool?

Otta Wrote: ------------------------------------------------------- > Good riddance. > > He can go to Arsenal and we'll have Walcott. > Sorted. He's more likely to go to City, I wouldn't want him at our place, hugely overrated and has a far higher opinion of himself than anybody with a modicum of footballing knowledge.

I agree, and I use it once every couple of weeks. And as you said in a previous post, just go to the pub for a bevvy in the company of friends and family.

I'm sorry to say that your remarks only serve to reinforce my belief that you think you drinking or dining, heaven forbid darling,in Wetherspoons is beneath you, hence the snooty reference. To each his own. I've experienced good and bad gastro pubs but would never make the sweeping generalisation about them that you've made about Wetherspoons. Like I say, to each his own.

Otta, we accept that it isn't Michelin star quality, but I don't get the HUGE generalisation by some that Wethers are all crap. That's just bollocks

Why do you assume going to a Wetherspoons means you are pissed up and that your taste stretches no further than a local kebab joint. Snooty? You better believe it.
