  2. My contempt for the modern day footballer plumbed new depths yesterday with the story that broke regarding Yaya "birthday boy" Toure. If you want more money say so, if you want to leave, say so. Don't make up some weak, pathetic excuse about not being loved, respected yada yada yada. Despicable, the guy earns more than the dreams of avarice and more in a week than most earn in 5 or 6 years. Obscene

Regretably these days fans view and wishes seem to be either ignored to viewed with disdain, I think it's fair to say most Prem clubs are much of a muchness in that respect. Very sad and soul destroying.
  4. I'm resigned to the sad fact that whatever way I vote I'll be disappointed ultimately

  6. Truly, madly, deeply - Savage Graden
  7. Try Magic Shoes by The Main Ingredient, great uplifting 70's dancer
  8. Given some of the shops currently trading in ED and the prices charged, and some of the sad sods that actually happily pay the prices, you'd be right at home and do very well I've no doubt.

Just another sign of a society that has lost sight of good manners, sorry to hear about your experience. Regrettably people take it out on each rather than the train service providers who charge some of the highest costs in Europe if not the world and provide possibly the poorest service.
  10. CSKA Fulham fans very quiet and sheepish today in the office. Fancy that eh?

Agreed and I thought Steve Bruce, who I like as a manager, was less than gracious when he stated that the corner that led to our second goal was never a corner. I agree but what about the 3 stone wallers the ref missed Steve?

Thought Giouds back heel to set it up was good play, as for Cazorla's free kick, quality. Well done to Hull for making it a great game to watch, well form the 45 minute onwards anyway. I went with my son and 2 of his mates to a pub in Holloway Road to watch it, and had as much booze poured over me as I got down my neck. I know people like to celebrate, but don't they know how bloody dear a pint is these days?

I don't know if it's true but it's all over twitter. I hope Remy being at the last game of the season was a sign, but who knows.
