  2. Hi Any thoughts on getting the forum set up on tapatalk? Cheers
  3. Southwark Bridge is definitely the way to go. I head down Camberwell Grove, hang a left and then a right at Camberwell Green and go all the way up the Walworth Road to Elephant. It's not too bad as there are plenty of bus lanes - it's straight and fairly quick. You can always get off at Elephant if you don't fancy it or there is a back route that crosses the Old Kent Road. At Elephant take the Newington Causeway exit but then take the first left at the lights and follow the road around to the right. It takes you all the way up to and across Southwark Bridge. At the other side of the bridge go straight ahead as this is for both pedestrians and cyclists - you can cross the next two roads at the lights (same mixed-use scenario) and take a left down Cheapside - straight to St Paul's. I always go nice and slow on the pedestrian bit as at least 1/4 of the cyclists at this point are tossers who just head straight through at a fair lick expecting pedestrians to get out of the way. Apart from being a shit way to treat people it's completely counter-productive for anyone who wants to improve cycle access to central London. This route is if you are a fairly confident cyclist - I think it's the quickest. If you aren't very experienced then I'd take advantage of Jon's kind offer for a guided route and see how you feel after a while.
  4. As both a previous non-offender who didn't know how to commit crimes and and now an old offender in particular need of a face lift and trendy clothes I find it a more welcome addition than another cheese shop.

Anyone who has followed TFL's road "improvement" programmes will realise that objective assessments have nothing to do with it - they are there to follow the Mayor's directions which result directly from short term voting pressure. See the amount of independent reviews they have commissioned and subsequently ignored including the Blackfriars Bridge and Kings Cross interchanges. Whilst you may well object, quite reasonably, to sloganeering a fatuous belief in the political independence of TFL is frankly hilarious.
  6. I'd definitely recommend Giulio. He's rehabilitated me through a stress fracture over the last few months and I'd be a massive sack of lard without his help. His sense of humour gets you through the tough bits and I have to say that there's no chance I'd work as hard as I do there without his help.
