We are looking for an after school nanny for our 2 boys (10 and 8), ideally covering at least Monday - Thursday but there is some flexibility. The job would include pick up from Dulwich College Junior School (3:45pm), bringing them back to our home in Herne Hill and looking after them till around 6:30pm. Our current nanny is a student but her timetable has changed and she can no longer do the days we need. Please DM if interested. Thanks Jenny.

I've just cooked possibly my worst meal ever (and my husband would tell you that's quite a feat) after using a whole jar of stir fry paste instead of the two teaspoons I realise with hindsight I should of used. I was planning on power pramming this week but I think someone mentioned today that it wasn't on this week.

Thanks for all the advice - Virgin are slightly cheaper so given the balance seems towards them I think that's what we will go for. I will also check out which planes fly on the route though.

Does anyone have any experience of whether BA or Virgin is better when travelling with a baby? We are planning to fly to San Francisco with a 5-6 month old and there isn't much of a price difference so wondering which to choose.

I currently have a 5 week old who appears to be quite long and thin and is outgrowing his newborn size clothes in length only - his legs get all bunched up in his sleepsuits now. Everything I have which is 0-3 months completely swamps him. Does anyone have any advice on which brands are larger than average for newborn size or smaller for 0-3 months relative to others? Up for Cafe Prov on Monday and will also try to make the Gardens on Tuesday. Glad the bus trip went well Emma - beginning to think I should have tried a trial run as well as getting to Pilates for 10am tomorrow with a baby who will then sleep for at least an hour is definitely going to be a challenge. I think I will need to start preparing at about 6am! Hope the misbehaving Herne Hill babies had a better night last night. Jenny x

Hi Vanessa - we may not make it tomorrow after all as we all have a bit of a cold at the moment with the male members of the family (particularly the smallest one) being the most grumpy about it! Jane - possibly around tomorrow but juggling appointments with both community midwife and health visitor so not sure can commit to specific time for the park. Hi Carolyn and welcome, I will have to let someone else answer your query on iPods as working this out was somewhat far down the list of planned things we didn't have time to get to - the epidural being at the top! We did take in a battery operated iPod dock in case we couldn't access the stereo but I will have to find another use for the relaxing playlist which I think I told my husband at some point I really didn't care about anymore. And another boy... Francis (Frank) Edward arrived at 3:32am this morning after I reacted a bit too quickly to induction! Back home at lunchtime today just under 24 hours after we left the house yesterday. Still getting to know this amazing little person but will hopefully introduce you to him soon. Hi all, Breakfast 21st/22nd and/or drinks on the 1st are fine for me. Final scan this morning and everything good - baby seemed a bit bored as he yawned through most of it! I've got fingers crossed for on time arrival so I don't miss antenatal classes as well. I'm booked in to the ones in East Dulwich with Sofie Jacobs finishing a week before my due date (is anyone else going to these?) - NCT was booked up by the time I got organised except for intensive course one week before due date which I decided was just too close.
