No news at all unfortunately! We're pretty miserable about it. Police told me to keep an eye on eBay and Gumtree but I'm not terribly hopeful.

Our beloved little mini was stolen the night before Christmas Eve from Matham Grove. We've had it for 13 years and had only just got it roadworthy and back on the road 2 months ago. It's a British racing green old style mini, I've attached a picture. I know it's highly unlikely but if anyone knows anything or has seen it or is offered it please let me know. We are desperate to have it back...

Just found it was a friend of a friend. She's ok. She was mugged on her way home and she tried to fight him off. The police said she was lucky she was wearing a big coat as the wound was millimetres from her heart. Her hands are pretty cut up too. She's in hospital and very upset and shocked.

I'm with you tomM... I lost my cat in February (still heartbroken!) There does seem to be a lot of missing kitties in ED.

Thanks Huguenot. I wasn't expecting to be able to evict them, I just want some peace and quiet! I have just downloaded the noise diary and taken a note of the noise teams phone number! I have a feeling the house is either owned by the council or a housing association. It's such a shame, it's a beautiful, big house.

Ah yes, I read about section 6 notice.. I haven't seen one. I emailed the community police this morning asking their advice, haven't heard anything back yet. The property is in Matham Grove.

We have unfortunately had squatters move in to a house opposite us. Last night, they played incredibly loud music until about 3.30am? I may be getting grumpy in my old age, but I do feel it's a bit out of order on a Monday night!! This isn't the first time this has happened. The house is partially boarded up so there isn't even a front door to bang on! Does anybody have any ideas of how you deal with this sort of behaviour? having done a bit of investigation this morning, it seems squatters have an incredible amount of rights!!! So I have no idea how to proceed... any advice would be appreciated!
