James, Are you implying that people who drive white vans and read the sun are racists? I'm not being serious! All, I could think of better things to spend public money on than 'funky' street lights. Maybe sports facilities and youth clubs so any bored young people (all backgrounds of course) have something more stimulating and constructive to do.
