  1. Dear giggirl, I definitely don't feel a sense of entitlement to parking in Grove Park. Whilst it is a free parking zone however you can't blame me for continuing to do so. The two episodes of damage were dents in the roof of my car, and the bumper torn off. I do sympathise with house owners getting frustrated, we also have cars parked outside our house, in one case for about 2 months without being moved. Parking in London is always a problem, but like I said when I first posted, coming back to my car at the end of a hard day to a hostile note, or damage is very unpleasant. Thank you for your interest though.
  2. Just wanted to say how sad I am to hear of the dog attack. Truly awful!!!
  3. I had a chat with Jeremy Bowen in the queue at the checkout. He was lovely.
  4. Stood behind Lorraine Chase getting her boots done in the shoe menders near Sainsbury's. Saw her again on Camberwell Grove. Think she recognised me!!
  5. No,my car was not blocking anybody's drive or pathway. I think the residents are just fed up of King's staff using their street. It's really just passive aggression. Sadly if they needed any of the services at King's they would be happy with our help.
  6. A blind friend of mine was walking her guide dog near Brixton. A man was using a phone box and his dog was off the lead. The dog mauled my friends gorgeous Labrador and it needed vetenary treatment, stitches, and was horribly shaken. The owner didn't even apologise!!Yes people should keep their dogs on leads if there is even the remotest chance they may be aggressive.
  7. I'm sure I'm not the only King's employee who has had notes left on my car in Grove Park SE5 asking them not to park there. King's staff work hard for their community and it is very hurtful after a hard days work to return to their car to a note asking them to move their car and park somewhere else. My car has been damaged twice. While parking is not permit only King's staff will continue to park in a convenient place, near to work, and unfortunately living in London we all have to put up with a little inconvenience. I would ask people in Grove park to have a little understanding. I know this is not strictly East Dulwich but wasn't sure how else to communicate this.
