Does anyone know of any cat sitters who would be happy to administer insulin shots I'm just thinking ahead as to if ever we can't make it home on time or holidays? I've e-mailed Lisa (thanks to your e-mail e-dealer) but unfortunately she's looking after three cats at the moment. thanks

Thank you all very much for your messages, they have helped me feel a little more positive. I think he will need an epi pen type injection rather than a needle as he bit the vet yesterday as he was so frightened. I am seeing the vet later so will know more but I may well take you up on you offer of e mailing for advice.

My 17 year old cat has just been diagnosed with diabetes. I was just wondering if anyone has any experience of looking after their cat and injecting them with insulin?

Has anyone used these guys for sash windows?
peachy replied to Howl's topic in Request a Tradesperson
I used Balham Glass & Joinery for my three sash windows in the sitting room and am really happy with them. I had quite a few quotes but went with them and have also recommended them to a few other people. -
I may well be urgently looking for a seamstress within the next 5 days or so. Does anyone know of anyone or have any recommendations? Thanks

It's an actual reading and I regularly update them too!

Thanks for your responses. My heating is on a time switch and comes on for one hour in the morning and then comes on in the evening from 5pm until 10pm. I don't have thermostats as it's quite an old system but I think there's definitely something wrong. I'll look into ecotricity, thanks for that tip!

Hi, I was just wondering which electricity/gas supplier is the best to use for East Dulwich. I've just received a bill for ?521 for the last quarter. This seems to be ?200 more than this time last year and I'm doing nothing different. I live in a flat and it's gas central heating with only 6 radiators. I'm sure I'm paying more than I would if I lived in a house. Would be grateful for any advice. Thanks.

I applied for one on line last week for free. I haven't received it yet but definitely was not asked for money.

Thanks again for your comments. I've been told I have good bone density, best compliment I've had in a while! Thefore hopefully I won't need the bone grafting. I feel better now I know that ?2,500 is about right and I'm not being ripped off.

Thanks MM, I shall google BMI group.

Thanks all for your advice. It sounds as if what I've been quoted is about right. I have called around a few other dentists but they're all a bit cagey and want you to come in for a consultation (that costs) until they can tell you how much.
-
Hi, I was just wondering whether anyone had had a dental implant done and what the total cost was. I've just had a quote for approx ?2,500 which seems excessive.

peachy replied to bettyboop's topic in General ED Issues / Gossip

Does your water pressure drop between 7am-9am?
peachy replied to bil's topic in General ED Issues / Gossip
I have been having problems for the last year or so. I'll be running the shower and it will suddenly turne cold because the water pressure has dropped. I live on the top floor and I think it gets worse if the people below are using it. I also heard on the radio the other day that single occupants can claim single occupancy discount. I called Thames Water and they insisted that I'd first have to complete a form for a water metre. I told them I didn't want a water metre and that I probably wouldn't qualify for one anyway as I live in a flat. They said the only way I'd find out if I qualified for a single occupancy discount would be to complete this form.
