  1. What a revolting response. Coincidentally the almost exact same thing happened to me with a slightly older child, maybe six - the parent and friends seem to think it was OK. It wasn’t funny. It was very painful thoughtless and ignorant.
  2. just wondering how much it cost. Thanks
  3. You do know they’re not the only people who have that piece of land as their ancestral homeland, don’t you?
  4. Sovereign state on their own ancestral homeland.
  5. The greens and reform have given a kick up the arse of the two main parties. We will see dramatic changes in the next six months.
  6. But the democracy volunteers don’t seem to report their concerns until the voting closed.
  7. that’s just been misused first by Faraz and then Starmer. It’s evocative and negative. But it’s flooding the news today.
  8. I think the Galleon on Dunstans Road beats that. been work in process for 5+ years.
  9. its based on the income the [to be x] freeholder will lose - ie the ground rent and any service charges. Unless D Estate follows different laws to everybody else.

  17. So some personal experience trumps other people’s personal experience. what a waste of time.

  19. Rising damp though rare is a thing - a few years back there was loads of companies that have all gone bust offering 30 year guarantees. I was fooled it is true but my post was really about how such guarantees work not about the existence or not of rising damp
  20. The builders guarantee system is quite fraught. I had a 10 year guarantee for correction of rising damp; within 18 months. The symptoms returned and I was told by the tradesman who returned on an inspection visit that the symptoms this time were not caused by rising damp they were caused by condensation and so the guarantee did not apply. Without a court battle which would’ve cost thousands there was nothing I could do.
  21. There’s many ways to say you don’t agree with me. I suppose that’s one of them.
  22. I didn’t bother reading your whole post. You’re level of distain and your level of entitlement is overwhelming. It’s that I’m alright Jack mentality. very sad indeed. PS, consider getting rid of your car
  23. Enpointe. The easiest way to solve problems you have described at the FHR end of Rydale would be to have double yellow lines for the first 20m wouldn’t that stop the potential collisions, road rage, swearing, upset families? Etc
  24. Sounds like they’re just getting rid of an important bus stop at Nigel Road. There’s already another bus stop outside the old Asda around the corner.
  25. As I posted much earlier up thread, I wonder if the identity of that someone will be revealed.
