Thanks for the ideas threatguardpro.com comes up if I hover over the unsubscribe thing. ultranetshield.com It looks like they are just companies selling an anti virus product - but how can I stop them? -

There’s another one in Brixton open 24 seven I don’t think the insurance thing can be a problem -

As Peckham Rye Park has a well used skate park, there’s a precedent for one to be considered for Dulwich Park. -
Derelict Grove Tavern - who to contact?

I think a large supermarket would be brilliant there Aldi, Lidl, Sainsbury’s - topped of course by social housing. Skate park is a great temporary use for this derelict site. But I expect things will change when the lease runs out. -

this is jokes - I walked through Dulwich park and there were loads of people there and actually the skate park is reasonably illuminated by the street lights. I was stating a tiny fact about a sliver of time not making a statement on the 'youth of today' -

No, of course not, but the film is an over romanticised version of the skate park. -

Went past yesterday there was one man skating. It was a good use of a derelict site, but hopefully it won’t be if Southwark Council and Dulwich estates sort it out. Compulsory purchase anyone? -

The skate park organically grew out of the situation to make it permanent defeats the purpose and the philosophy of such places -
Depends how you define locally. Some of us have increased traffic because of dulwich village road blocks.

New Shops in East Dulwich and Nearby - 2025 Edition
alice replied to Joe's topic in General ED Issues / Gossip
Many high streets have been taken over by charity shops. I can’t believe they’re paying full rent. I think landlords accept a low rent from a charity for a short term. Hopefully someone who actually knows will set me clear. -
Southwark is closing youth centres day centres they’re not going to spend millions on opening a new community space. What that area needs is a good supermarket. The nearest one is Sainsbury’s in Forest Hill. someone else may well know of the mechanism where a council can make a compulsory purchase. So the supermarket underneath with three or four stories of social housing long top built in the same style as the Dulwich estate.Next door.

South Circular roadworks - excessive disruption
alice replied to Penguin68's topic in Roads & Transport
My subtle call to open the village to through traffic has gone unnoticed. I think that’s the only solution to avoid three months of absolute pollution and avoidable interruption to normal lives. -
Fines for parking in loading bay for 2 minutes - appeal?
alice replied to Naiada's topic in General ED Issues / Gossip
A threat only becomes a crime if the receiver of that threat honestly believes that threat is going to take place in your case it does not seem so. -
South Circular roadworks - excessive disruption
alice replied to Penguin68's topic in Roads & Transport
It does seem an excessive amount of time to put in pedestrian crossing. Perhaps they could consider opening alternative routes temporarily. -
Estate Agents - recommendations/avoid?
alice replied to hazysunshine's topic in General ED Issues / Gossip
Sometimes estate agents may recommend reducing the price to create a quicker sale, sometimes sellers have an inflated view of the value of their own property, especially if they’ve personally done work on it. -
