  1. 'Where does the Bold Tendancies money go, by the way?' JMT well on their website it lists several well known sponsers including channel4. I wonder how much funding they get?
  2. hang on a minute folks - sounds like ed wants to expand its style and power base into se15 - bold tendencies has loads of private and public funding but its still summer fun that doesnt touch the people who live in se15. I mean franks takes absolutely loads of money but i don't see that cash staying in peckham. whatever happens to the car park should be for community use like a primary school with a roof top garden or one of those multidisciplinary health centres with a rooftop garden or a kids nursery with a rooftop garden
  3. for all those who found my question worth answering...big thanks and the final choice was 'borrowed light' a farrow and ball colour but mixed by our local dulwich diy guys. its sort of grey but with some blue undertones[?] so looks differently delightful as time and light changes and doesn't make the red dull. thanks
  4. many thanks all such thoughtful responses- i'm off now to get couple more colours mixed down at dulwich diy - greyish is favourite
  5. walls - has to be light because its a typical vic hall
  6. any inspiring ideas? want a colour light but not off white
  7. read somewhere - no probs found with alevel? as / gcse results - curious silence on here however
  8. ha so if people travel outside their local area to commit crimes dh then the 50 robberies that took place in SE15 in June were commited by people from outside of peckham, from east dulwich maybe? which doesn't seem fair as only 32 robberies were reported in se22 this june.
  9. thanks all - sworking now - think it was the fan - had a hot lap - put it on a frozen pizza - for half hour - thanks again everyone
  10. today its just cut out three times - all charged / plugged in - then cuts out - now on again - anyone out there with a solution? help
  11. 'whether or not his conviction would bar him from that employment, I suspect the fact that he may well get more than six months in prison is going to interfere with his school attendance.' says dulwich bloke as it'd be a first offence [enhanced crb] and he did not steal anything and he came out when asked by police ..... 6 months seems a little harsh and def unlikely
  12. just walked back from peckham - police with riot shields were at the far end of rye lane - everyone just watching and waiting and there's a weird feeling - you know you should just go home but you want to see what happens ..so i did ....until a bloke couple of feet away smashed primarks window.

  14. It is so rare for the police to shoot and kill a member of the public - A full press statement and local meetings should have happened immediately - hopefully tonight will play out slowly slowly but tomorrow the police need to attempt belatedly to dispel some of the rumours and half-truths circulating. Their so far silence is worrying.
  15. or wednesday latest
  16. agree with tiddles above - there's only one reason to delay making a complaint till the last day. And thats to cause maximum unresolved disruption - motivation?
  17. a couple of years ago it was on the market after the shop part closed - if you know the number look it up on nethhouseprices - it serves a purpose - provides cheap accom for those on dss - or maybe some will think http://www.rightmove.co.uk/property-to-rent/property-34350323.html would provide a better standard of living and a more righteous moan
  18. still want to know...how much?
  19. love the bollards - but anyone know how much it cost to paint that building next to the 63 bus stop - and from which budget it came from. just asking thanks.
  20. thanks all i'll try the dove method - the others are scaring me
  21. ignore
  22. Anyone out there with a good method? i've got white leather kitchen chairs but they've got a little grubby - any suggestions as to how to clean them? thanks
  23. so i think i'll sum the whole thing up. there's two main players. A headteacher - who is liked by some; disliked by others. A parent governor - who is liked by some; disliked by others. There's nothing left to say. Let's drop it.
  24. definitely dodgy with more than a hint of panic - if you want to know about the changes just read the ofsted report
  25. Welcome to the forum '61. I know what you mean - and I'm sure they think they're being subtle.
