Would it be right to say the school may close because fewer parents are sending their children there and the per pupil council money from a one form entry school does not give the nuns enough to live on. Is it the school sponsoring the nuns or the reverse?
Thanks Gaynor I do understand now, I too was sent to A&E after a telephone consultation I?m glad I went, it wasn?t a heart attack but I needed an ECG to prove that and a GP can?t do it.
Maybe I have misread your post Gaynor but it seems like on both occasions you were told it was emergency and to go to A&E and it proved to be an emergency. I don?t really understand what the problem was with the advice given and I hope both of you are better now.
KMC Neither Beormund School nor Newlands Academy are for children with learning disabilities. DKH just across the border Kelvin Grove has an excellent ASD 2 class unit within the school where pupils can increase gradually the time spent in ms classes.
There?s a change.org online funding request which says the nuns are ?withdrawing their sponsorship? of the school and moving out en masse. Does that imply anything about ownership of the site?
Faith schools? Look at NI. Wouldn?t it be great if the nuns decided to give the land to Southwark council for the building of the many many many homes that are needed.
