  1. Thanks I’ll try and contact them.
  2. Was there ever any lights? So dark impossible to see the path. Surrounding bright lights somehow intensify the darkness. Anyone know if this is a sainsburys or councillors responsibility?
  3. I always use that Bellenden stretch. It's very safe and pleasant unlike those speeding through rye lane [not stopping, not shopping] but I have posted about this before.
  4. the skate park is of course cute enough for such videos, such organic growth is just what happens - empty spaces taken up by artists of all kinds. but now, their job is done, almost time to wander off and find another derelict area and make it grow - that is the nature of the process, But that enormous site needs to be for social housing. 10,000s still on the waiting list, council paying fortunes out on rancid out-of-door ugh short term accommodation. Will it happen? The mindset of our current Suthwark council still astonishes.
  5. The fireworks at St. Francis rd were thrown by a group of schoolchildren,
  6. I agree with your post but are you implying that those with such mental health difficulties are immune from prosecution if a crime has been committed?
  7. New Market on Melbourne open for business! Bustling with 1 stall.
  8. Wardens anecdotes are interesting. But for straight info check the police crime map. It’s fiddly to use but gives a clear result. But like I said earlier unconnected to skating site.
  9. How is that strange? Has crime decreased in the area? Are they running sessions for ‘at risk ‘ youngsters? I would say the skate parks existence is totally unrelated to crime in the area. But if anyone’s got evidence otherwise I shall bow.
  10. It’s a grave.
  11. Ridiculous suggestion that somehow skatepark prevents crime
  12. Agree with you best use would be social housing with maybe a community centre and supermarket. Dulwich Estates won’t be helpful. Does compulsory purchase still exist.
  13. Thanks I know they should do but many don’t. Found excellent Otto’s in Peckham discount for locals.
  14. Does anyone know anywhere that does this within walking distance of East Dulwich if possible? thanks
  15. It’s actually the perfect spot for social housing, great access to public transport, parks, schools etc. Including an elderly care home in the complex and maybe a supermarket. It would bring more trade to the shops in that part of lordship lane. It would certainly be better than the dangerous and invasive plans for rooftop developments. Southwark new build social housing is so slow - they’ve been celebrating 10000 new homes for years with a tiny % being built. Their target is the carrot and we are donkeys.
  16. That's a Stealth LTN for Lordship/ Eynella. Who authorizes these false signs?
  17. There was dancing in the street when our iceland was replaced
  18. New apple tech shop just opened up on forest hill rd. excellent knowledgeable advice. Well worth a visit for all things apple.
  19. Snorks not sure who prc are but without landlords there would be 1000s more homeless in Southwark.
  20. Would it be right to say the school may close because fewer parents are sending their children there and the per pupil council money from a one form entry school does not give the nuns enough to live on. Is it the school sponsoring the nuns or the reverse?
  21. Thanks Gaynor I do understand now, I too was sent to A&E after a telephone consultation I?m glad I went, it wasn?t a heart attack but I needed an ECG to prove that and a GP can?t do it.
  22. Here?s a vote for the return of the original Blue Mountain. Never surpassed.
  23. Maybe I have misread your post Gaynor but it seems like on both occasions you were told it was emergency and to go to A&E and it proved to be an emergency. I don?t really understand what the problem was with the advice given and I hope both of you are better now.
