  1. Article is in October 21 edition of Highways magazine. Manchester are asking the DFE permission to use Zebra crossings on their own. They have just completed a 2 year study. So let?s wait and see. (Cost as stated above)
  2. Yes i just checked, that's right. Interestingly there are lots of companies that make belisha beacons but all are very discreet about pricing.
  3. Sounded like it from the Twitter post
  4. Maybe a days work I?d say ?1000. Recent studies show that crossings without Belisha Beacons are still very effective at a fraction of the price. But why when you?ve got another crossing 100 yards down the road?
  5. Unbelievable yet quite sad to see our Dulwich hill councillors posing at this gateway to inequality. No need for crossings on court lane, few cars,no buses, rare bikes and sweet breezes blow. Lordship lane - mad detours made, buses and grey polluted air.
  6. Or call a commercial broker yourself. Should be more like ?400
  7. Car keys in Barry rd wall pm for number
  8. Apologies Twitter error
  9. Mountain bikes take up the same space as all bikes. SUVs do not.
  10. I heard something like 75% of SUVs are sold to people living in urban areas. So yes I agree.
  11. thanks legalalien for that information. good.
  12. That?s the only thing that could succeed in Melbourne as a Sunday fruit and veg. Rye lane ?1 a bowl style.
  13. That was still there in the 80s
  14. Isn?t everybody active inactivated from April? Going inhouse.
  15. As in Southwark suggesting saturday market knowing people will say why not sunday market. then move it to sunday and say 'you see we do listen'
  16. Local trader buys from wholesaler shock news.
  17. What is it with that sole coffee shop on Melbourne Grove it is never open when I go past. It?s either someone?s vanity project or it will be shut before the summer.

    But ?12000000??!
  19. Which would be great if it actually happened. Dulwich Village has a very low proportion of such protected groups. Except maybe the elderly who have been specifically hard hit by the road closures.

So my intention was not to mislead.
  21. wasn't a ?1,000,000 plus found to save a tree on cox's walk?
  22. The only way to contact them online is via a form where you had to sign to confirm you are not seeking any information about a medical problem.
  23. Interesting that the much maligned Forest hill rd surgery gets good in all categories.
  24. Dulwich Village = Vote Labour but Act Tory
  25. Southwark news has more info apparently around 10-11pm last night. If you were around then you may have useful information.
