  1. Yes it would leave a 10/12 minute walk for students and if that?s too long, perhaps the route could vary for that school rush. It would?ve very handy for those at the top end of Barry.
  2. I like the idea and can see the benefits for Dulwich Village residents. But how does it help those key workers that live South of Dulwich? It would increase their journey times even further. What about trialling a re-route of the P4 to use the bus gate on Court Lane emerging by the library to allow easy/West transit from Lewisham to Brixton?
  3. Empty sites would be better used as temporary housing if our council did its job.
  4. Not many shops from the 50s left in lordship Lane nor many other High Streets.
  5. It's always busy when I go, lots of new places opening. So there are plenty of people that like it. better with buses tho.
  6. I love Rye lane. I like feeling I live in a city. Lordship is fine but a bit like whitstable without the sea.
  7. Isn?t there a deadline today re commenting on the dulwich review via streetspace.
  8. To those that have shall be given. Southwark?s gone biblical.
  9. If you believe southwark that?s just an ordinary day.
  10. Nasty post DKH so why do I feel safer down rye lane than the silent dead streets you cherish.
  11. So if car use switched to bikes in then Bets we?re told how come the queues for petrol are so long?
  12. depressing.
  13. If southbound cars could use Melbourne Grove they would avoid the need to turn right onto East Dulwich Grove making a particular junction much more safe and less polluted.
  14. Ok Now it?s definite. My dad is bigger than yours.
  15. It would be easy to waive penalties for homes going through probate. A year should be enough. It?s massive empty properties eg: the old Harvester that is ideal for social housing but no will from Southwark.
  16. So you?re calling the 100+ group of older people, whose lives have been negatively affected, idiots.

You misread my post, which perhaps was unclear. I was referring to traffic on Lordship Lane from Townley Road to the A205 jam packed, idling and polluting. Previously they would?ve been able to go down Calton or court avoiding the much longer detoured journey.
  18. So from townley road to south circular totally jammed. 25 minutes car journey. 70% of cars turned right. Dulwich LTNs have not worked.
  19. If you're still concerned check out the research. It backs the above post.
  20. The LTNs have not worked. Southwark is not listening. Does this thread have any purpose?
  21. Nursery aged children in such roads? Just wrong.
  22. So what was the point of the council setting up this focus group?
  23. ?Incentivised? how. And %wise it wasn?t small more like 75%
  24. Older people had a zoom meeting with the council in these changes and the large majority spoke of the negative impact on their lives. So not sure where u got your info from.
