Exactly KK. I have noticed similar changes on Underhill road.

Everything about blocking roads into the wealthiest, healthiest, greenest part of Southwark is against all I voted for. Playing with the data does not change that. Where are the improved bus routes? The bike lanes? The non idling coaches? Maybe it was never about actual real active travel but more about creating a village in an urban area. Butterfly effect gone mad.

I certainly disagree and with the right planting and design it will be a superb location and certainly better than building on existing social housing parks and rooftops.

Isnt the same kind of thing Southwark?s brought out on lots of commercial strips recently? Me I think it would be ideal site to build social housing.

I?ve just had two invitations one referred to the booster one referred to Covid vaccination. My conclusion was they were both the same.

The parallel bike route is always virtually empty when I?m on it. Actually think it?s faster. Any ideas why people don?t use it?

I think you are wrong Andrew. If East/ West bus routes were 'allowed' to cross Dulwich Village, If surrounding roads were now as peaceful as Dovercourt/ Court/ Calton etc, If idling coaches were not blocking EDG and Townley road, if tailbacks on Lordship lane/A205 didn't stretch back to the library, If the windows on Lordship lane estate were not shut tight on the hot days, if I could cycle down court lane without worrying about a parked car door opening, .... Your comment about loving cars[?] - Most people don't have one, especially those that live outside the beneficial zone.

The first step is a concerted call for court/ village to open.

The p buses can catch people who live off the main bus routes. It would be good if tfl could look to see how those routes be made more efficient and therefore provide an alternative to driving for those longer cross borough boundary work / school journeys. The P4 suffers the awful slowness of the South circular; rerouted along Court would speed up that section of the journey.

Yes it would leave a 10/12 minute walk for students and if that?s too long, perhaps the route could vary for that school rush. It would?ve very handy for those at the top end of Barry.

I like the idea and can see the benefits for Dulwich Village residents. But how does it help those key workers that live South of Dulwich? It would increase their journey times even further. What about trialling a re-route of the P4 to use the bus gate on Court Lane emerging by the library to allow easy/West transit from Lewisham to Brixton?

Empty sites would be better used as temporary housing if our council did its job.

Not many shops from the 50s left in lordship Lane nor many other High Streets.

It's always busy when I go, lots of new places opening. So there are plenty of people that like it. better with buses tho.

I love Rye lane. I like feeling I live in a city. Lordship is fine but a bit like whitstable without the sea.
