I popped in on Sunday and ended up buying three gorgeous lampshades! It is a pop-up shop (I think until after Christmas..?). Definitely worth a look in - some great tea towels and cushion covers.

I'd be keen for something of that ilk, but would prefer not to have another chain in area. More than that, though, I think Wagamamas is really boring! I never think the food has any flavour and, despite eating there a few times, have never been impressed. Rather not have a wagamamas....

We live around the corner frOm this gym and there has been a car/house alarm sounding all night. Coulnt get to sleep, and have just been woken By it. Rings for about 20 minutes then stops for a few. Absolutely climbing the walls! Anyone know what it is??? Thank you :)

Just walked home from ED station down Melbourne Grove and East Dulwih Grove is crawling with police. Four cars and a van from what we could see, plus two helicopters circling above. Had a look on BBC news but nothing there. Anyone know what's going on..?

Absolutely not! We should be supporting our local businesses. The lovely thing about ED is that the majority of the shops are independent. Let's not ruin that... :( -

Hi all. Does anyone employ a cleaner locally? We are about to move to ED and I have a horrible feeling that the current owner isn't going to do a very thorough job when he moves out! I would be keen to find out how much it would be to get a cleaner in for a couple of hours to do a proper 'deep' clean - with me- the day we move in. Does anyone have any recommendations/rough price guides? Thanks in advance, B
