  1. We are looking for someone who can build cupboards and shelves in our living room. At the same time we will need to remove a radiator and we're therefore looking for someone with plumbing skills too. Can you recommend anyone who can do both? Laura
  2. Hi, Looking forward to catching up on 17th. Happy to go with non alcoholic beer again. I'm also quite keen to get to Franks whilst the weather is so good and before these babies arrive! Cath, I hope your settling in week is going well. Once Flo starts we can always do an early pick up and tea together. I'm booked for an early induction on 24th now so will definitely miss that meet up! I'm hoping the little nipper decides to arrive naturally before then. Laura xx
  3. Really nice to meet you all last week. I'm away the week of 13th/14th but free on 20th if that works for everyone. Xx
  4. Hi, I haven't been able to make any meet ups yet. As i'm getting fatter the reality that time is flying has hit me! 23rd sounds great. Look forward to meeting you all... at last. Laura x
  5. Hi, I joined the summer babies thread a little while ago but then found I couldn't make any of the weekend meet ups due to having a toddler in toe. Very happy to see an evening organised. I'd love to join you all tomorrow night. Laura
  6. I hope to make it tomorrow but i need to find someone to look after my son in the afternoon. Otherwise Fridays are good for me. I'm off work every other Friday. Laura x
  7. Hi, just seen this thread. Sorry to miss the first meet up. I'm due with my second on 1st July so would be keen to join the next rendezvous Laura
  8. A friend of mine has just started a new online business called FarmDrop that connects local community buying groups with local producers. Farmers market meets Groupon - the idea has been hugely successful in France and the states. Their inaugural South London drop is happening at the Dye House on Nutbrook Street on Thursday 14th March. To find out more visit http://www.farmdrop.co.uk/index.php
  9. I have an NCT meet up this morning so can't make the park. Enjoy the sunshine! Just wondered if anyone had tips on giving water to babies if not breastfeeding? Is it a good idea? If so how much do you let them have? xx
  10. I missed you all last week at the Gardens but hope to see you there this week. The exercise idea sounds great. I'm very keen to start getting my tummy back into shape. Jane, i've signed up to Tuesday afternoon pilates too. Do you start this week? I wonder if we're on the same course. Congrats to all the latest arrivals and good luck Elizabeth! xx
  11. Not been on here since last week. Congratulations Jane. What a speedy delivery! Look forward to catching up with everyone tomorrow. Laura xx
  12. Good to catch up last week and looking forward to meeting up again on Tuesday. I have the health visitor coming tomorrow but if the timings work i'll pop into Cafe Prov as well. Laura xx
  13. I would love to pop in too. I've been having a tricky time recently too so it will be good to get out and compare sleepless nights! xx
  14. I'm disappointed I can't make breakfast today. I was hoping to have a good catch up on baby news. Sam went to the tongue tie clinic on Thursday afternoon and he's not stopped crying since then. All a bit traumatic! Hoping he'll get better over the weekend and then I can get some sleep :) Congrats to all the new recent arrivals. Well done to the mums. Hope to catch up soon Laura xx
  15. Hi all, Thanks for the breastfeeding advice. We've just found out he's tongue tied so that explains his incessant feeding. It's a relief to find out that was not normal! We're around on 14th too so would love to join. Perhaps Sam could meet one of his fellow Sam's. xx
  16. Exciting news! Our little boy, Sam, arrived on Saturday (2 weeks early). Tim and I have never been early for anything so he came as a bit of a surprise. I was reluctant to go into hospital thinking i wasn't progressing but we went in at 1pm. He arrived at 16:43 into a birthing pool a very happy chap and we were home that evening by 10pm. Breastfeeding is proving more tricky.... Little Sam can't wait to meet you all xx
  17. Congratulations to all the new arrivals. For a minute there I thought all the spring babies might be boys so it's nice to see some girls arriving too! I'm glad to hear all the babies are healthy and happy even though some of the births sounded a little tricky. I start mat leave the week of 20th so i'll pop into the Plough. I have a midwife appointment in the morning but can join after that. What time did we say? Laura xx
  18. Hi there, Just caught up on forum news.. i can't believe the first baby has arrived already. Huge congratulations! I also can't believe someone was cheeky enough to mug a pregnant lady in broad daylight. I hope you're ok Caroline. We've just got back from a quick holiday but with hindsight I wouldn't recommend taking a long flight at 34 weeks! Would love to join you on 29th for drinks and 3rd for brunch. See you soon Laura xx
  19. Good to meet you on 1st. Unfortunately i can't make 18th but I would be keen to do something in March (perhaps boys included). Thanks for posting the link to Kings. I was hoping to visit the maternity ward in a couple of weeks but it sounds like they've stopped them. I start my maternity leave on 16th so I can do Tuesday meet ups after that... looking forward to my 32 week scan on Monday :)
  20. Hi, I just heard about the Spring Babies club on Sunday in a yoga class. I'm due 6th April and would love to join your next get together - (if it's not too big already). Do you have something planned for 1st Feb? Hope to meet you all soon, Laura
