  6. Hi there, I am selling a KMS kids bike trailer - here are full details - http://www.amazon.co.uk/KMS-Trailer-Stroller-Suspension-Children/dp/B0047OMAJE I am very pro bike trailers for getting 1+ kids around locally. You can get kids, shopping, scooters etc all in one. Its also very liberating to not have to push a buggy around and get to cycle instead....plus you can get to parks etc much quicker, park right outside shops and can actually get more done. There brilliant in the summer and so much fun for the kids but also excellent in the winter as they are water proof and you can transport them quicker than chugging along with a pram. I only used my trailer about 3 times because I had the opportunity to get a trike which is what I really wanted and is heaven to ride! The trailer was a great cheaper, safe and cheerful option to get used to transporting kids like this. I really recommend them rather than balancing kids on bike seats...I'm actually not a confident cyclist which is why I opted for the trailer/trike option where are more solid and visible on the road...the cars really do give you more space and are more patient as you are taking up more space on the road and they know you are transporting kids....on a single bike they tend to cut by you push you into the side more. I was very inspired by the Danes who use these all the time. I'm selling mine for ?50 and bought it for ?80 so its a bargain! Feel free to get in touch if you want to check it out. 7. I'm so glad this has been raised as I recently saw the work of the amazing Danish playground designers "Monstrum". Until now I was reasonable happy to put up with the playgrounds we have dotted about and the repetitive version climbing frames but after seeing what playgrounds could be like its set the seed of disappoint. It would be be amazing if a British company could think outside the box and do something truly dynamic and inspiring like this or get these guys to do playgrounds over here! My friend in Copenhagen uses this one and they just love it. Councellor Renata Hamvas......could this be one for you to take on?
  8. The box trikes are brilliant. I was lucky to get a dutch trike second hand last year and it was amazing and lots of fun. Fits upto 4 kids and shopping. Sadly it was nicked before christmas but I've got the trike bug now so I'm going to replace it with a Christiania. They are pricey but worth it.....make sure it is insured and locked down as the bike thieves are getting onto them. London Green Cycles have Christianias and are actually local at the moment before moving to north London. Kidsandfamilycycles have a selection of bikes. Good luck
  9. Hi Anna, We would love to join your class in the new year. My daughter is 2. Could you please give me details. Thank you Mehala
  10. Hello, This sounds great. I'm into making all sorts and beginner knitter. Its always good to do this together even just for the encouragement otherwise months can go past without do anything - my daughter is fast out growing the cardi I'm knitting for her! I have a 2 year old girl so other toddlers would be great for her to play with. I have Mon-Wed generally free and happy to host something at my house for say 3-4 mums and tots. Tots can also go in garden to keep them occupied. I live in Peckham quite near the library so hope that works for anyone local. Let me know how this progresses and happy to put some dates in the diary. Mehala
  11. Hello, I look after my 23month old daughter full-time but am a bit sick this week. I need someone who can hang out with her over the next day or 2 - basically just play with her at our house and take her to some local groups or playgrounds. Hours could be 10am-4.30pm and she sleeps at lunch from around 1-3pm. If anyone has any time they can even if its just a morning or evening session then that would help. I'll be around but just need someone to take her off my hands for a bit. If anyone is interested then please text or call me on 07957 492 407. Thanks! Mehala
  12. Hello, We could be interested. I've been at home with my 14th month old girl but was self-employed and trying to get back into a bit of work. Do you know how long she wants to stay for? Mehala
