Wise Kids Yoga Summer Holiday Retreat & Mini-Course Peckham Rye Park Nature Reserve - see flyer attached I am really happy to announce our Summer Holiday Yoga Retreat Mini-Course. If you are still making plans for the summer holidays then take a look at our dates. In the first two weeks of August, we are offering four sessions of children's yoga, games, mindfulness and nature craft in the beautiful surroundings of Peckham Rye Park Nature Reserve. The Nature Reserve is a dedicated gated space used for Forest Schooling so it is safe, private and we will have exclusive use of it. We will take the children into the Community Gardens to look at the flowers and wildlife and do nature inspired yoga and we will forage for craft materials to do nature craft along with relaxing and mindfulness under the trees. It will be a lovely way to spend time outdoors, have a crash course in yoga or explore their yoga further. In Toddler Yoga we move, play, stretch, sing, dance and rest. We have fun, soulful teaching to give children and parents a safe space to connect, develop, create and express themselves. Parent and Toddler Yoga is an opportunity for you to experience what the world of children?s yoga has to offer. It?s a time for you to connect with your child through physical play, teaching them what their bodies can do and best of all to cuddle and relax at the end. We know that Toddlers want to move a lot, have bags of energy, are full of hormones and can be fiercely independent. This is all fine and we hold space for them to be all of these things during our classes. We don?t expect toddlers to be zen yogis, we don?t expect them to be quiet and still. We offer parents the opportunity to connect and also to let go of their child to observe their potential. We offer them their first experiences of relaxation, something becoming increasingly important to learn as early as possible, even just for a few seconds. Hello, At long last, I am very pleased to announce dates of what I hope will become a series of 2 week workshops on Mother & Baby Yoga at The Goose Green Clinic. This unique course will cover 'Birthlight Baby Yoga' along with 'The Mother's Journey Kundalini Post-natal Yoga'. My name is Mehala and I run Wise Kids Yoga classes in the local area. I have run Birthlight Baby Yoga classes which is yoga for babies. I will teach you moves and massage to do with your baby to bring movement to your baby's body, strengthen their limbs and muscles, calm their nervous system and help them sleep, digest and bond well. I also teach The Mother's Journey post-natal Kundalini Yoga, which is the yoga of the mind. You will learn how to calm, refresh and replenish your mind and your body. I will teach you techniques to get energy when you need it and create moments of calm and rest. We will move, stretch and awaken the body. This course is suitable for babies from 6 weeks to crawling. Hello, I run Children's Yoga classes in the area called 'Wise Kids Yoga'. We are running some yoga workshops during the summer holidays and looking for helpers. It is paid work for app. 2hours on Mondays and Wednesdays potentially from end July to end August. You will be assisting the teacher to set up and manage small groups of children. Excellent idea. I'm a Baby Yoga teacher and I had post-natal depression too. Not using this to promote classes at all but the community helps and mother and baby support helps. Always happy to discuss.

This is interesting to know as we are planning our holiday clubs for Children's Yoga so this timing is worth bearing in mind. Hi Sue, Welcome to the area. We are Wise Kids Yoga and run Parent & Toddler Yoga every Tuesday at the Effraspace near Brockwell Park and we go on through the holidays. Its great for toddlers as you can do the class then go to the park. There will be Parent & Toddler Yoga starting at the Goose Green Clinic in east Dulwich on Thursdays too and we will see how that goes in terms of running throughout the holidays. Can anyone recommend a company to distribute flyers in the Peckham Rye/East Dulwich area? I need to put flyers out to cafe's and venues.

We have just had an extensive kitchen refurbishment completed and I simply must rave about our carpenters Piotr and Bartek Pure View. I was looking for someone to possibly clad an ikea carcass kitchen and got fed up with kitchen carpenters being inflexible and only wanting to make the kitchen from scratch as we couldn't afford this. Also I wanted to use a specific material so I wanted people who were happy to use it. I finally put a post on EDF and asked for anyone interested in the project to come forward. The only people who bothered and expressed an interest were Pure View. They immediately saw the opportunity to work with a new material and develop something interesting. They have been fantastic from the start. They got the ideas immediately and were encouraging, supportive and informative as they applied their practical knowledge to my ideas. We had several meetings finalise every single detail, they didn't miss anything and helped us through the process. They are so positive, jolly and efficient to work with. When they finally came in to make the kitchen they were so pleasant to have around, they just got on with it and we were left with a beautiful finished kitchen in just a few days. Their work is such a high quality and their details and references are spot on. We were very impressed and they clearly love the work they do. They really were my missing link to make it all happen and I couldn't have done it without them. We've got many other things that we want them to do around the house so really happy we found them and would highly recommend their work. I've attached pictures of the finished result. We have had a new kitchen and garden refurb done by T1 Construction. Assaf, Zolly and their team have been fantastic throughout. They are totally professional and calm and their team are highly skilled and really nice to have around. They were all quiet and gentle team of Hungarian builders. Their quote was the best and they got back straight away with a quote when some didn't even bother. They were recommended through an architect we were using so they worked well together. Assaf deals with the business and Zolly deals with the team so it was nice to have two owners each with their specialism to deal with so the building side and money side didn't get muddled. Either Assaf or Zolly would be passing through on site every day and always available so we could always discuss anything with them. They have done great work with good finish and really listened to what we wanted, anything that wasn't right they easily changed. We would highly recommend them and would use them again. I am looking to get some doors made for an ikea kitchen. I want to use black Valcromat. Looking for a carpenter who has used it and knows how to treat it properly with Danish oil.
