  1. Hi everyone, I'm looking for a little advice. My son will be one in a few weeks and we are looking to have a small gathering. Too many people for our home but we don;t want a huge party. We are looking for a private room or space really in a pub locally ED, Peckham, Nunhead with a nice feel and good food. The room upstairs at the clockhouse is booked and their little raised seating area too small. Any advice would be appreciated. Numbers are approx 12-20 adults and a few babes x x
  2. Thanks London Mix :) I will check out the City Lit College too
  3. I am now 34 years old and am keen to retake my GCSE in Maths. I know it probably sounds strange but it has always been at the back of my mind that I would like to achieve a C or above grade. At School I worked so hard and even with extra tuition got a D. Does anyone know of any good adult education courses, either online or in the evenings/weekends?
  4. Hi, I'm really hoping someone has picked this up as it was a pressie :( Its a blue sque lunch bag made from the recycled material and I think it must have feel off my pram on or around Lordship Lane, although I have been to Ivydale Road today too. I really appreciate anyone who has found it x

  6. We need to re-tile our bathroom floor of approximately 2-3 square metres We have materials already. There is underfloor heating. Any recommendations would be greatly appreciated. Many thanks
  7. Hi, I can recommend Ariadna Sole. My partner and I did a 6 week course run by Aridna last year. We met 7 lovely couples and the sessions were informative and relaxed. We met above the Mag pub and there was lots of opportunity to ask questions and Ariadna encouraged social catch ups with the other couples. Her website is bump, birth and beyond I think. Aridna is a midwife and extremely knowledgeable. Hope this helps, Emma
  8. Hi jess, agree the ed tots page is really good, shows all free and paid classes.there are so many, you are spoilt for choice. I moved a year ago fro. East London to ED too. I can rrecommend the sure start centres particularly ivydale in nunhead and Bessemer grange in Dulwich. They have great play groups with some specifically for babies plus singing, rhyme time. They are really well run and eqipped. nct has a bumps and babes group on a Mon and most of the mums I've met are going or bee to baby sensory in honor oak and love it. The forest hill pool is new and really good too for swimming.
  9. Thank you everyone for your suggestions, they all sound great and I shall look into them, Emma x
