Hi Looking for recommendations for someone to replace our living room ceiling. It's a 1930's house and the ceiling is coming away and needs replacing. Looking for a good, trustworthy builder to carry out the work. Thanks in advance.

Just wanted to recommend Rob Mills from All Aspects Plumbing. We had an outside water pipe that needed replacing and he was able to come round and price up the job the same day and the work was done quickly and efficiently - with added helpful advice thrown in too. We're looking for a plumber who can replace a water pipe which runs from the house to the mains at the front. We have a driveway (which is about five metres long) which is being dug up, so the pipe will already be exposed. Recommendations or quotes appreciated.

What is the going rate for an annual boiler service - need one to keep the warranty valid? Anyone qualified people on here want to offer their services?

Can someone please explain (and apologies if I have missed this somewhere else) - many weeks of work went into modifying this junction and adding a right filter from East Dulwich Road onto Peckham Rye - but I'm not aware that the filter has ever been in operation? Does it only work at certain hours or is it not on at all?

Kick off on Saturday is 3pm - there may be a queue to get in so you can get there at 2.45pm and you will get in before kick off no problem. The more the merrier!

Oops, a rubbish truck has just driven down Blackwater Street and the road has given way, so it currently has its back left wheel stuck down a hole. They're trying to lift it out right now...

Apparently the lock is broken on the box and therefore cannot be used until its fixed.

I went for a wander round Peckham Rye Park this morning at around 10am and all the gates were shut; like others, we climbed over a fence to get in and enjoyed a lovely stroll; but is there a reason the gates were not opened? Please don't tell me it was for health and safety!!
