A strange aspect of the result is that Labour received no apparent "protest" votes. The coalition is unpopular, Labour scores well in the opinion polls, but does badly here. At least UKIP didn't win the seat, unlike George Galloway last year (at Bradford)

Well I don't believe the Sutton ones are as demanding as the Orpington ones. They are of course single sex. If you want a child to get in, then a tutor would give them a good chance for the year before they sit the entrance tests.

Thanks for clarifying Paul - all those places you list are west or south west of Beckenham centre APART from Eden Park, which, as I say, is south. That's the only one your original post mentioned! As for postal addresses, these places are all in BR3 (Beckenham). No reason to put Eden Park. That's just a sub area.

Fmm, you need to live within a few hundred meters of the Langley schools if you want to get in AFAIK. borderpaul, check your geography!! Eden Park is DUE SOUTH of Beckenham. West Beckenham is the area near Kent House/New Beckenham/Cator Park.

used to suffer from black mould but the answer is to have a fan that stays on long enough to clear the condensation from the air in the room. Perhaps get a fan that has a humistat as well as timer - stays on longer than usual when the humidity is high in there -

Totally agree with Kidkruger's comment! (It's probably legal to do so but a bit discourteous if its obvious that the front area of the house is being used as a drive / parking area ? Even if there was a dropped curb you may still be able to argue you can park in front of it if there's no white-painted line indicating 'dropped-kerb', but again, that'd be a pretty ignorant thing to do.) -
