turn your hot water down . most people have the hot water too hot and have to run the cold water tap on to cool it down !

vinegar and lemons are brilliant

thought id start a thread on little tips and tricks to help to do our bit for the environment. tip 1 we have got rid of all our cleaning products and use diluted white vinegar tip 2 use left over lemons you use for cooking and rub on stubborn stains (ie the bath). leave for a few minutes and wipe down as anyone got any other good tips ?

the title calling it a redevelopment is slightly inaccurate . the notice is actually asking for suggestions . it is actually a biwling green already so if you have an urge to play Bowls go and use it. it's a difficult site to be used regularly . how about rebuilding it and use the clubhouse for a nature centre or something . it would fit two tennis courts in but is in a quiet area of the park

I'm amazed there are no recycling bins in parks.. much of the rubbish is recyclable . I hate to break it to you guys .. I guarantee most people leaving rubbish in the park wont be reading these posts

There are wa(kers who run, cycle , walk and dog walk I'm afraid . Joggers seem to be a particular pest at the moment. Seen loads I sitisting on jogging on the pavement forcing parents with prams to go into the road. Ffs .. your PB round peckham rye park can wait until next year surely . There are some people that are and will always remain dickheads I'm afraid

Why on earth would I joke about that ? Some People are frightened, old, trust someone official looking and yes sometimes plain gullible . I work for the council. At the moment there are no testing door to door by NHS, police , council or any other body.

I'm keeping an eye on an old boy round the corner and dropping some food off for him . I offered this morning to leave my dog with him for the afternoon. He looked so excited. Just a thought that pets could help with isolation with any old person you know (who obviously likes friendly dogs . Could also be the opportunity for the return of the paper round. Corner shops are the perfect place to capture contact details of older residents who regularly pop in for their morning paper and pint of milk . I delivered my neighbour a copy of his daily mail this morning (albeit through gritted teeth !) Reading that rag isnt going to cheer him up !

Andros is amazing .. deserted beaches. It's actually near to naxos (which is also lovely) . Andros is very mountainous and really need to hire a car but anazing driving through the mountains. Much lower key than naxos. Tbh you could combine both !

We went to see humbug at the Albany in deptford. It was brilliant . Well recommended and local.
