Why is the PM talking to the EU President today What is the point of that - it's just grandstanding. Less and less impressed by TM every day.

I don't remember the wording - but if it was like that it was Cameron with a final scare attempt. Surprised he didn't say "This is it, on your head be it, don't complain to me when it gets done."

If they didn't even examine the consequences - how do they know if Brexit is even possible. We're entwined with EU and maybe 30-40 years is the timetable, we aren't even told half the story.

TM is quite 'I know best/Paternalistic (Maternalistic) in her Toryism. (Ironically what Leavers call Remainers) I wouldn't put it past her to have a secret assurance to Nissan.

Because many remainers expect to be hit hard (job losses, inflation) - whether that's true or not - it's what they believe and at the same time many leavers feel immigration is destroying their community. I remember the same sort of acrimony during the Miners strike.

On Wiki the quote "Hoddle announced in 1987 that he would be leaving Tottenham Hotspur at the end of the season to pursue a career overseas where his style of play would be appreciated by continental managers and supporters," says it all really.
