Thumbing your nose is the 0.1 then. LadyDeliah Wrote: ------------------------------------------------------- > Flipping your middle ginger is aggressive? Where > the hell have you guys lived? You know when someones looking at you .. but you realise they are looking at someone behind you. It could happen with a finger :)

Sounds more and more pre-planned to me too - and less like an accident (although wouldn't rule it out) But where would they go, insurance fraud or terrorism and what would they do with the passengers. Somalia was out of range I think ?

I thought the avocado thing felt like it was a story I'm afaid. I'd never have time to do that - I'd just bin anything I brought which was rotten or past use by and check next time. I forgot Ice today (and I really wanted some) - couldn't go back - so trying small Tesco tonight.

Walked up Rye Lane on Saturday about 9:00 AM and it actually felt good - sun, banter, singing and clean. However by early evening many of the issues mentioned (rubbish, hair) were back. I see street cleaners most days - so don't know what happens really.

Every funeral I've been to blocks the street for a short while (not London however) A few big ones choke up the M4 motorway (near Margam Crematoriom) Nobody has ever complained - everybody is patient. adonirum Wrote: ------------------------------------------------------- > I once attended a funeral, with the cortege > leaving from the house. You really need Ireland to lose - but apparently they don't often win in Paris. Alan Medic Wrote: ------------------------------------------------------- > The week-end should be fun. Congrats to England on the TC - I actually like them at present - Hope they win the 6N - Certain non playing personalities like to wind up Welsh fans however. England had a big say in the Lions - IMHO - I could list English players that had influence even in the final game - it's a 23 a side game. Wales have issues with the new laws at the scrummage (I really would like to go back to the hit personally and I find it rather unfair that after years of one law, administrators change to something different 1 year out from the world cup - Gethin and Adam are maybe to old to adjust and might be gone now) They will be back for next years games (Cardiff and RWC at HQ - too many big players not to be.

Could be nobody did anything and it's a dirty tricks campaign. It happens.

Our work machines used to go into stop mode after 60 minutes of running etc. You could just start again of course - but I usually stopped then. Looking for feedback on Kings College Hospital
JohnL replied to Peckhampam's topic in General ED Issues / Gossip
Doctors are all different though My consultant surgeon at kings reminded me of a famous football manager in looks and behaviour :) All went well though. No prebook appointments at DMC until end of March

not good because lots like me will tend to 'just leave it' to fix itself -
How can eating on public transport be a pleasurable experience (unless you're living on the street) - it's the worst sort of empty calories.

But the lady who has blown the whistle on MI5 has really shown how nasty they were Again http://anniemachon.ch/spies-lies-and-whistleblowers-subversion-chapter this is blowing open wide what happens - it seems to be true, El Pibe Wrote: ------------------------------------------------------- > I'm really not sure where you're going with this? > Not to Godwin it, but by logical extension are you > saying that the nazi war criminals shouldn't still > be purprosecuted because killing people was the > norm in the 40s? > > Weird frankly. > > You can brush up on logical fallacies and rhetoric > here > > I'd suggest appeal to ridicule, red herring, straw > man and undistributed middle for starters.

I like Cabal, and has internet history (TINC = There is no Cabal). :)

if someone is trying to create cycle lanes that are separate to the main routes and joined up - could be okay Not heard anything like that though :)

4 front pages because of a historical association. No-one is obliged to defend themselves - and there maybe reasons why - they may have had enough of that period and don't want more of what they got then. "The ?sub?ver?sion? of cab?inet min?is?ters Har?riet Har?man and Patri?cia Hewitt was to have been lead?ing mem?bers of the National Coun?cil for Civil Liber?ties (NCCL ? now Liberty), the very organ?isa?tion designed to pro?tect us from such unwar?ran?ted abuses of our liber?ties." "The decision regard?ing the Exec?ut?ive of the NCCL meant that MI5 could invest?ig?ate an indi?vidual ? that means tap their phones, fol?low their move?ments, break into their houses, place a bug in their homes ? simply for being a mem?ber of the Exec?ut?ive of the NCCL," http://anniemachon.ch/spies-lies-and-whistleblowers-subversion-chapter

Attempted Credit Card Fraud 'The Rye' Pub
JohnL replied to bigtony2's topic in General ED Issues / Gossip
When this happened to me - I saw it as the banks business, not mine. they refunded me - the fraud was against them not me. Sometimes there are internal bank issues or it's part of an ongoing larger fraud investigation - and you have no idea. The pub could easily be a patsy which is why the thread should probably go. -
someone actually started researching this in 2011 (just before the riots).. http://www.rc21.org/conferences/amsterdam2011/edocs2/Session%2010/10-2-Jackson.pdf wish it went deeper.

Attempted Credit Card Fraud 'The Rye' Pub
JohnL replied to bigtony2's topic in General ED Issues / Gossip
I don't 100% trust the post - had something opened (and i think something removed) over XMas. Normally I let the bank do the investigations - and just recoup the money in these cases. Staff at the Rye seem a good lot. -
I don't want to change whats there - doesn't bother me at all because I choose where I shop (and mostly it's boring Sainsburys). I would like some coffee shops and a few others which are closer to home (I think planning permission already granted for one (don't know what) - and the Magnet shop below Co-operative house is now gone - would love a little Cafe there rather than an empty unit again). Ozzies is Okay, Gregs has a few seats :) I think the argument is that this will put rents up and push others out (which is gentrification to many I think) ? Night time in Peckham has been transformed by the Bussey building events IMHO - but not sure how this is viewed by most.
