  1. This afternoon on the school run I lost a black neoprene wallet (the type that zips on to a buggy organiser). Lost somewhere between crystal palace road and goose green school. If anyone has found it please get in touch! Thanks
  2. Hi Emma, Thank you so much - would love to join you later today at the Duck Egg cafe, see you at 2.30pm! I won't have my toddler with me today as he is with childminder today. Looking forward to meeting some of you ager! Katie x
  3. Hiya, I am expecting my second child next week (already have a 2yr 8 month old son) but would love to meet up with some other spring babies and their mummys! Please could someone send me the fb link? Thanks! Katie x
  4. Hello, I have a 2yr 8 month old son and am expecting our second baby next week (!). I have only just found this thread but am very keen to meet up with others in a similar position, so please let me know if any of you are meeting up soon! Katie x
  5. Our 2.5 year old son has been with Lorna since he was 12 months old and I would not hesitate to recommend her as a wonderful childminder. Our son absolutely adores her and loves the days he spends with Lorna. They get up to all sorts of exciting activities with a trip out every day to the park, the library, a playgroup, local soft play centre or meeting up with other local childminders and their children. When they are at home Lorna organises really stimulating activities for them such as cooking, painting, reading, singing, dancing or playing in the garden. In the summertime they even get to grow their own sunflowers and vegetables in Lorna's garden, which they then help harvest and use to cook with. Lorna is bursting with energy and fun and her love for the children she cares for is evident in the way they interact. Lorna invests a lot of time and energy in getting to know the whole family and is a firm believer in working together and communicating regularly in order to provide the best support for the child. Lorna currently has a vacancy and as I said before, I would not hesitate to recommend her.
  6. I would like to make a recommendation for a chimney sweep in case any one is looking for one! I have just had our chimney swept by Alan from 123 Chimney Sweeps and thought he was great. He fitted me in at very short notice, worked quickly and efficiently, left the place looking spotless and was very reasonably priced too!
  7. I just wanted to recommend Steve (above). Our dishwasher broke yesterday, I found his name from the forum, rang him up, he came over this morning and had it fixed within 15 minutes. Fabulous service and very reasonable. He deals with any kitchen appliances.
