  1. Trying to catch the bottom of the market needs lots of luck . A small rise in house prices may not indicate the bottom has been reached . The decision to buy , or sell , will depend on many factors such as family circumstances , financial position , and expectations of future pricing trends. There is a very strong possibility that prices will continue to fall for another twelve months. If one needs a home and can afford to pay current prices buy now .Otherwise , hang on for another year and take a calculated gamble and buy then.
  2. No mate , one pound is worth 4 ES dollars.:)-:)

There is a lot of truth in your comments Rossy. The majority of comments on this forum can be said to be generalizations , especially ones exalting the virtues of living in ED.

OK , fair enough lets stick to ED muggings where they are so bad once does not need to compare them to anywhere else.

How is ED a > muggers paradise? Well . in the last 12 months I know of three muggings just in Barry and Upland Roads that were quite nasty , and that is just a small part of ED
  6. *Bob* Wrote: ------------------------------------------------------- > How many? Any more than anywhere else? > > Nope. Your "nope" suggests that you have already answered your own questions. I am not comparing ED to any other area , just warning people that there are active vicious muggers in the area and they should be very careful about believing all the crap that is being written on this forum about the wonderful ED.

Ridiculous. Tell that too the many people who have been viciously mugged in and around ED

  9. THe areas surrounding ED are muggers paradise . Be careful.

  11. It was meant to be humorous but somehow changed into something more serious .Having thought about it a bit more it seems that ethnic cleansing is done force of arms and economic cleansing is done by force of the wallet .
  12. Ok Sean , I accept that you cannot bring yourself to understand the term "economic ethnic cleansing" .If you have time read the following http://www.jewishworldreview.com/cols/sowell080602.asp
  13. Not so Bob . Cleansing can also said to mean a change , which can be for the better or otherwise.
  14. By definition it was ethnic cleansing. It seems that most people are treating the change in the demographic make-up of ED as being of a negative nature just because the words "ethnic cleansing" are used.
  15. Michael , you seem to be making a lot of "psuedo-intellectual old wank" about the meaning of ethnic cleansing. ED is certainly changing ethnically if one looks at the movement between black and white people in the area. Virtually all the prams how wide occupants who are in the main British. The term "economic ethnic cleansing" does not imply any sort of criticism towards the new people . The movement of peoples is being carried out on a voluntary basis where those selling are quite happy to take the money that is being thrown around ED. Nevertheless , it is ethnic cleansing.
