Needing to do this route tomorrow from East Dulwich, anything changed since 2008? According to CityMapper app, they are all rather hellish routes taking over 2 hours. I would love to avoid the Heathrow Express and a taxi. My flight is early afternoon which makes it a bit easier. Currently I was thinking bus to Elephant and Castle, then Bakerloo to Picadilly Circus and then Picadilly from there all the way.

I called The Patch today, sadly they are not going to be doing Christmas Day. What is the best of the rest then?

Sorry to bring up an old thread, but has anything changed much since 2011? I am planning a trip and I can get flights from Luton or Stanstead, but wanted to work out which one was easiest. Guessing it might be Luton via Herne Hill?
