Another thumbs up for Bradley. Very professional and accommodating when I had to cancel/change our appointments several times. A job well done, thank you. -
Summer babies 2017 (due June/July/August)
vgj1981 replied to Family Room Moderator's topic in The Family Room Discussion
Hello Summer Babies Parents, I hope you don't mind me jumping in. I'm a local mum who was a member of one of these groups not so long ago. I've now started a small business selling frozen home-cooked meals for kids. Ideal for second- (or third-...!) time mums who are busy looking after newborns and have a toddler to feed as well. Everything is cooked from scratch in my home kitchen and delivered to you (in SE22 and SE24). If you'd like to find out more, please visit www.mothersgrub.co.uk. And if you'd like to try a free pot, just PM me or e-mail through the website. Wishing you all the very best with your new babies. -

Hi all, My son left two of his prized small toy diggers in the dog free zone of Peckham Rye Park this morning. If anyone has picked them up, we would be so grateful to have them back! Please let me know via PM. They look similar to these, about 5cm long http://www.smythstoys.com/uk/en-gb/toys/construction-cars/c-422/construction-vehicles/p-14855/cat-mini-mover-5-pack/?gclid=CjwKEAjw-uDABRDPz4-0tp6T6lMSJADNoyPbxFI05WUDjEMGFAVxNjdThjHyE4U7iMOEsAkimUmUvRoCVTXw_wcB Thank you!

Another recommendation for David and Patrick. We found them to be prompt, professional, considerate and work completed to excellent standard for a reasonable price. We had some guttering replaced, a bit of repointing and some other small repairs and were very happy with the finish. Wouldn't hesitate to recommend. Thank you David!

Ladies ski gear to borrow in exchange for wine/chocolate

I have some size 12 v warm trousers you're welcome to borrow -
Another reccomenation for Greg. We only needed a small job done: some new shelves for an existing unit and some new floating shelves but we still received excellent service. Greg was easy to get hold of and deal with, gave good advice, did a good job and left everything clean and tidy. And the shelves look brilliant. We'd definitely use him again for future jobs.

Hi EDF, I am on the hunt for a friendly Spanish au pair who would be willing to help me. A family friend of ours from Madrid is hoping to come to London to work as an au pair. I was hoping to put her in touch with someone who could tell her a little bit about what's involved and how to best prepare for it. If you can help, please get in touch via PM and I can explain more. Thank you!

Hi all, I wondered if an amazing EDF person might have recorded this on their DVR and be willing to burn it onto a DVD for me? I'm desperate to watch it but it's no longer available on itv Player. Have checked YouTube etc. Happy to pay in wine or cake and will certainly cover the cost of or provide a blank DVD. Please PM if you are that amazing person! Thank you :-)

Hi, I'm sure there must be a thread about this somewhere but I don't seem to be able to find one. I was hoping to do a baby/child first aid course and wondered if anyone had a good recommendation? I was hoping to find someone who can come to the house and train a small group of us. Would be very grateful for any tips. Thank you so much

Hi all, Just wondering if we'd agreed on a time/location for Saturday... has anyone booked? It's supposed to be lovely weather so would be good to sit outside or somewhere with park/garden adjacent. Happy to book somewhere if everyone's super busy. Looking forward to seeing/meeting everyone on Sat! Victoria x -

Hi everyone, Was great to see so many mums-to-be at the Clock House today, thanks everyone for coming along :-) We decided it would be worth trying to book in another date and hopefully even more of us will make it to the next one. We thought maybe Saturday 4th August or Sunday 12th August. We figured we'd go with whichever date attracts the majority of votes! The Clock House was a great venue because it's near the park and we could spill out there if it's a lovely day (thanks for the suggestion Lindsay), but if anyone would like to suggest an alternative, please feel free. Let us know when you can make it and we'll firm up a date. Happy Saturday! :-) Victoria x -

Hi Julie, Of course that's fine! The pub seemed pretty relaxed about numbers so please do come along :-) I'm sure they know better than to challenge a group of pregnant ladies on the topic of seating! See you then -

Hi all, I booked a table for 9 people for 2pm at the Clock House (after spending a not insignificant amount of time searching for a pub in Dulwich called the Clock Face!) The booking is under the name Victoria but I won't be there till about 2.30 so hopefully some of you will be there beforehand to bagsie our table. See you all then! -

Hi all, We're moving to East Dulwich (finally!) in 3 weeks and expecting our first baby on 16th September. Very excited! Would love to meet on the 30th but prob won't make it till about 2.30pm. Can't wait, thanks for the suggestion :-) Btw, does anyone know about NHS antenatal classes and whether they're available at King's? Thanks! Victoria
