  1. Hi, Admin, FYI we have had that problem since we upgraded our BT router - have tried switching in and off with no result. Thinks the only website where we've had problems. Thanks.
  2. Hi, Does anyone know of an outfit that does on-off wheelie bin cleaning (as opposed to on a monthly basis)? Thanks
  3. I found a Samsung phone this morning on North Cross Road corner with Lacon Road - if it's yours, call!
  4. Another recommendation for Chris at Aerial Services - excellent work!
  5. We went tonight for dinner and remain impressed with the standard of food and the service - one of the best places in the lane!
  6. He knocked on our door and seemed legit to me. We talked for a bit about Shell.
  7. Hi Does anyone know what's happening with Prettys (as in the greengrocer)? Thanks
  8. The shop opposite the Sainsbury on Lordship Lane is excellent - had many pictures framed there!
  9. Hi, Does anyone know anyone in the area who can repair a faulty Kenwood Mixer like this one: http://www.kenwoodworld.com/en-int/products/kitchen-machines/chef-major/premier-major-kmm710 (it's stuck on one speed)? Thanks!
  10. Hi, I wanted to leave a whole-hearted recommendation for Dulwich Eco Gardening. - Saeid and his team are doing an excellent job transforming our garden. They are hard working, reliable and know what they are doing. You definitely get value for money! If you need work done in your garden, I would suggest you contact Saeid (also check out his Facebook page for examples of his work: https://www.facebook.com/dulwichecogardening). Cheers.
  11. There is also this one, parked on the pavement outside the closed down PC(?) shop towards the top of Lordship Lane (ED Tavern)...clearly hasn't moved in a while!

James Barber is a local (very good) > councillor, this is a candidate for national > politics. ...unless I am mistaken, JB will stand as the LibEem candidate at the next general elections.
  13. Well, I think it is positive for a prospective MP to engage with her potential constituents. And it would be good if this thread could be kept local rather than turn into a "Question Time" type thread on politics in general - there are plenty of discussion boards out there that cater for such discussions. So, in that spirit, my questions to Resham are: 1. What are your views on the current proposals for the Dulwich Hospital site? 2. Do you live locally? Thanks.
  14. Hi, I can recommend Alex at www.crown-joinery.co.uk. He is local and has build a number of things for us over the last couple of years. Thanks.
  15. Does anyone have problems with their BT broadband in then Hansler Rd/Fellbrigg Rd area? Cheers.
  16. That's great, I am a big fan of your Barry Road operation...but: Could you increase your production of the Alsacien bread - it's constantly sold out!
  17. @85volga - they will have negotiated a rent-free period with the landlord whilst they do the fit-out.
  18. Hi, I really like your napkins - is it two designs you have (the ones whown on your FB page)? Thanks!
  19. Hi, Just wanted to add another recommendation to this thread. Alex built and fitted a bathroom cabinet for us - it is a solid piece of workmanship and creates a lot of storahe for us! Thanks.
  20. If you are buying this in hardcopy - and in support of the local economy - do consider buying from a local bookshop rather than from Amazon! Thanks.
  21. I visited SMBS on Lordship Lane for the first time today (on recommendation by Franklins). They are a couple of doors down from the Cheeseblock and stock a fabulous variety of organic/vegetarian and natural food products. It's quite unassuming from the outside but a real treasure trove on the inside!
  22. PS: Just a to say that the Route 66 burger van makes exceedingly good food - give it a try!
  23. Hi, I am selling two tickets for Emil and the Detectives if anyone is interested: http://www.eastdulwichforum.co.uk/forum/read.php?9,1257595 Thanks!
  24. It's this one, I assume: http://www.lilasjewels.co.uk/ - nice to have an independent shop move in!
