Hi, Our daughter (4.5 years) also attends the German Saturday School in Forest Hill and just to say that it is not a school per se but more of a playgroup where they do arts and crafts. It?s very informal and friendly and your child certainly does not need to be fluent to attend. The children have all sort of levels of fluency. Hope this helps.

There is a centre for asylum seekers at the top of Barry road near the church. There are many men, women and children there who need clothes and toys for Christmas. My wife went over the weekend and they are short of things.

We've been a few times for breakfast and dinner - we like it: the staff are friendly and it's very spacious so you don't feel crammed in. The food is good and value for money. Give it a go!

Just be aware that if you notify the issue to your insurer as subsidence or similar that they will take a dim view and may crank up your premium for all eternity. The crack may just be due to natural shrinkage due to the warmer weather (happens in our place every year).

There are websites you can upload pictures taken on your phone and they will edit the background etc to make sure the photo is compliant - that's what we did and it worked a treat.
