Clockhouse - ?500 for a 2 year old children's party?
Ladysaw replied to Ladysaw's topic in Request a Tradesperson
Hello everyone, I finally got a place that both my hubby and I are happy with and think the price is fair and reasonable for a 2 year old party. I spent quite a lot of time calling up different places (as you all know) before posting this and i must say because of all your input on this thread I found a wonderful place. Thanks for all your responses and excellent venue ideas. Enjoy your day! -

Thanks for all your input everyone! Dear Y C, thanks for all your time and effort to post your opinions as you should and its a public forum hence why we all have an input pretty much based on facts. Mostly. I can and will be delighted to appropriately respond to your post however I don't have the time or the energy. In the meantime ... http://www.speakerscorner.net Try not to be too overzealous! There is no cover in the park if it rains unless i rent a gazebo, which is not an option. Tree cover? Maybe, but don't want to risk it. Also having a bday party in a quiet area/floor/kids area in a pub is quite normal for families. -
So I am still in shock horror at the quote to have my daughter's second birthday party on the first floor at the Clockhouse. ?500 MINIMUM SPEND to rent from 2pm to 4pm in late September. Our flat isn't big enough to host a party and i would love to have (approx) 10 of her toddler mates to celebrate with her. Can someone please put me out my misery of the ?500 trauma and help offer alternative venues/ideas to help me pick a venue? I really really would appreciate it :O) X
