  1. Try James Allen girls school by north dulwich. You can book a section of astro truf for an hour, nice surface too, none of thwt horrible rubber crumb or sand
  2. Thanks for your help - is that just for the suitcases though? Ca't imaging my hedge trimmings being classed as recycling. Is there somewhere else i need to take them or can it be same place?
  3. As an update on this, I ended up finding a pair of shears to do it manually. The problem now is I have bags of hedge trimmings (and also old suitcases left outside by previous tennants) to get rid of to make the front of our house look a bit nicer. I don't know certain services of Dulwich very well. Is there a public rubbish tip or somewhere like thwt near by where i can take all my hedge trimmings and get rid of these suitcases? Ta
  4. One of our recent housemates left, taking their hedgetrimmer with them so this is a request to see if someone can do it for us for a few quid. We are on one of the roads branching off the bottom of Lordship Lane (no pun intended!). I won't put the exact address on this public bit but if you can help out obviously I will give the address. Although you might already be able to guess if you've gone past pur house and been appalled at the state of it! Someone asked last year if we wanted to pay him a tenner to do it so quite happy to offer this again? Please send me a private message if you are able/would like to help. Thanks
  5. It can be a pain because for example the EDT is a huge pull for Sunday football, when there is normally two games. People head to those pubs for the football but one huge area of the pub is reserved for families and they won't put the match on the screen in there, so the majori of the pub, who are there for the football, are squeezed uncomfortable into the other two sections, often without a seat, which means standing for hours on end or blacking people's views. Surely that pub should realise that people come for the football on sundays, obviously the roasts are a pull but it's frustrating when i haven't got any space when i sepcifcally came in to watch the football and there is a perfectly good screen in the "family area" which isn't utillised. Plus it means they often forget to turn the music off and put the sound of the football on, and it's rubbish trying to watch football when there is other music playing
  6. Wondering if anyone can point me out to all the tailors in east Dulwich, or recommend any, purely to do measurements for a suit that I am required to wear at a wedding. Feel it's better if a tailor does it as it'll me more accurate and I'm likely to measure slightly the wrong areas or lengths etc. I know there is that Mark Saville place on dog kennel Hill, but it's ?15 Anyone else recommend/know any places nearby that can do it? Ta
  7. Hi, sorry if this is in the wrong forum. Moderators please feel to move it if so, just seems the most appropriate Just throwing it out there that I am looking for some part time/flexible hours work in East Dulwich to supplement my freelance writing and music jobs, just to fill in a few extra hours for a bit more cash. Anything considered, bar work, shop work, filing, painting, looking for things maybe during the day on Tuesdays, Thursdays and/or Fridays. If anyone knows of anything please PM me. While I'm at it, I mentioned I'm a musician and am available for public and private functions for singing and guitar. I have my own mini PA and am self sufficient. Again, if anyone knows of anything let me know. Also considering some guitar teaching if any beginners are interested in learning Thanks!
