  1. Hi ladies, I'm not able to make it today unfortunately. Have a fun afternoon! I'd love to make the evening meet up, toddler bedtime depending. Think there are plans for the 14th? Not sure if location has been decided? But if not, the EDT used to always be a good bet with my previous summer babies group as they reserved tables. Although I think we also did the Bishop once. Jen x
  2. Hi, Lovely to meet some of you today! And your little ones for those who came. Some pleased the sun came out for us too! Sorry that have missed those who couldn't make it. Hope to meet some more of you soon. Have fun if you do meet on the 6th or 7th as Frieqs suggested. I'll try to make it but will depend on toddler bedtime! Otherwise hope to make the meet up on the 9th in PR park. Take care, Jen
  3. Hello! Just wanted to clarify that we now have 2 dates in the diary for anyone that can make it. I know that not everyone can make the April date so adding the May date is an extra, not replacement. Sorry for any confusion! 1st date is 25th April 2nd date is 9th May. Both at Peckham Rye park in the dog free area from 3pm-ish. I guess weather permitting! But maybe if it's awful weather we can swap to the cafe? Not that my toddler would mind, she loves a good muddy puddle :) x
  4. Hiya, Oh sorry the 25th doesn't suit everyone. Let's make sure we arrange another date soon, maybe something early May? Im hoping we still have nice weather for the 25th! Looking fwd to meeting both 2nd timers like me and first time mamas too. Jen x
  5. Hi ladies, There seems to be a few of us now, so how about a meet up? Does Sunday 26th April suit? (Alternatively Sat 25th?) I could do from 3pm after my toddler's nap. Maybe a picnic/walk in Peckham Rye park? In answer to Maria, there isn't a formal meet up schedule planned. With the group from my first baby we just met once a month and then arranged smaller meet ups as and when people could make it and that seemed to work well. We can always set up something similar, maybe a combination of weekend, evening and weekday daytime meet ups (to suit those working and those looking after LOs in the day). What do you ladies think? Looking forward to meeting you all soon!
  6. Thanks Mellors. Yes really looking for something where toddlers are welcome rather than a cr?che but thank you for replying, appreciated!
  7. Hello, Anyone know of any exercize classes where toddlers are welcome. Daytime classes, something like yoga or pilates would be best, but also would consider something like excercicing in the park. Ideally SE22 or SE15. Thx!
  8. Hello, I was wondering the same thing! Congratulation! I am due in mid-Sept, and coincidently also have a toddler who is 20months. I can empathise with just how busy things are going to get as I can imagine our household will go through the same as you :) I am part of the summer babies 2013 group and found the group a great support. It was lovely to make good friends who had a baby at the same time. It would be lovely to meet you and other mums due in the Autumn. Take care!

They are phased so that as a pedestrian you only have time to cross one side of the junction on the green man - and the traffic lights let both sets of cars go before the green man comes on again. Many thanks
  10. Hiya, am on a feeding marathon this morning so not sure I will make it :( If only I could master feeding while walking! Jxx
  11. Oh no Ginny, sorry to hear that you're back at kings. Hope the time goes quickly and you're both back home again soon! Xx
  12. oooooh congrats on all the new babies, well done Claire, Philippa, Ginny and BBear - and anyone else I've missed!! Our little girl, Araceli, was born 12 July. I can't believe how fast time has gone since she arrived. Thinking of all the Aug crew awaiting their new arrivals - hope you're doing well! I can make Monday too but will be a bit late. Looking fwd to catching up and meeting the new arrivals. Jen xx
  13. Hi, I also recommend Hollie at London Hypnobirthing. Her course was great, really helped us learn how to relax deeply and taught us the skills we hope to use at the birth. I feel so much more confident now about planning the kind of birth we want and know that whatever happens we will know a way to keep calm and relaxed. Hollie is also lovely and very supportive. I can't recommend her highly enough.
  14. Hi there, Yes booked the Clockhouse from 7pm, the area to the right as you walk through the door. Looks like we should have a good crowd tomorrow and not sure we'll fit on the raised area but I'm sure we can just spill over! Hope everyone is well and enjoying the sun but surviving the heat? :) Jen xx
  15. Hi all, Huge congratulations Laura! I hope you 3 are doing well!! I hope everyone is having a good week? I counted up about 13 or so people for Thurs so I have booked the raised area at the Clockhouse for 7pm. I am sure if more people join we can just spill out anyway! Looking fwd to catching up with some familiar faces and meeting some news ones! Jen xx
