    "e, you're an egghead?"
  3. What quids said. People come here to shop and visit, that's one of the things that makes it a great area.
  4. What part of ED do you live in?
  5. Hi mscc1991, To be classed as self employed the HMRC may want to see that you work in different places and choose your times of work. Being self employed also gives you more flexibility as PeckhamRose has said above. If you do choose that way it would be best to go on a course as Ludo has suggested in order to not make mistakes with your returns. I am an employer and also work with self employed people. If you do go PAYE then you will pay MORE NIC and your employer will have to pay that extra on top for you. If you are self employed then the NIC payable is less that YOU have to pay (different classes). Hope this helps. What happened to all of the accountants on the forum to give free advice :-S. Good luck.
  6. but KK,rcmacf looks like a good catch so surely you are getting what you see?

  8. Go on TL, satisfy these lady's curiosities.
  9. Ted, good investigating skill there but she aint reporting, something must be up.
  10. I don't think it is sad, some people are looking forward to it, the young guy is a fireman and helping his mum out, she should get redundancy. This place is prime location for any business, but, it won't get snapped up, due to the landlord being an a*$^*^** or just too fussy.
  11. ..macRoban? Is she ok or just on hols? The gossip just isn't the same.
  12. If a person is generally healthy and does not get flu often do they really need these vaccines? This is like the doc saying that we should all be on high blood pressure meds and statins.
  13. lol quids, would that not put a limit to certain forumite's posts?
  14. Hilarious. If times are hard though LM i see this as an opportune way of making some money. Don't forget to send out invoices now.

I agree with Mark, PMs and email shouldn't be copied onto the forum (as we have seen happen here in the past) even IF BBW has given LM permission to. LM is a sensible person and i don't think would do that off her own head. She seems to have become BBW's PA. Get out whilst you can LM. :) hope this helps.
  16. Could it be a potential venue for the edf drinks?
  17. wow, this thread is doing well, still alot of single people out there, i haven't heard from Miles in a long time. I wonder how he got on.
  18. Somerfields seems to have alot more co-op products in-store. When will it be transformed though, if ever?
  19. Maybe john should invest in some bars or shutters for the new window, as he seems to be having an overhaul. Just an idea.
  20. daizie Wrote: ------------------------------------------------------- > Hmm its not right is it. I knicked a christmas > tree out of Woolworths last year . Sad but true . That's prolly why they went out of business...
  21. Do you live in Peckham? Course it will.
  22. This thread is interesting and all over the place. Is it about white, black or poor to have high crime rates in an area? What about the fact that some people are in the need of drugs to fuel an addiction and crime is connected to this, unfortunately.
